PAX East was an eventful weekend, and while there we caught up with Wargaming to get a look at how their collectible card game (CCG), World of Tanks: Generals, is shaping up.

This upcoming free-to-play title brings World War II warfare to the turn-based card gaming world. Just entering closed beta last week, the PC version of the game is completely browser-based, working best on Chrome but also supported by Firefox, Opera 15 and IE9 or higher. Wargaming anticipates the mobile version to also be available in 2015, which looked pretty solid when they showed off a tablet demo.

With a couple interviews already, it only made sense that our own Ann Hosler would track down the ArenaNet developers at PAX East for another interview. Luckily, she had already leveled her tracking abilities and found Jon Peters, Game Design Lead for Heart of Thorns, and Kristen Bornemann, Guild Wars 2 Development Director.

We had the opportunity to go hands-on with Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae on the PlayStation 4 at PAX East yesterday, and it definitely left us wanting more. From stunning visuals to the amazement over an open world in a Final Fantasy title, XV is set to not disappoint.

Final Fantasy XIV fans are rejoicing as the release date for the first FFXIV expansion, Heavensward, has finally been announced by game director Naoki Yoshida at PAX East.

PAX East 2015 is currently underway and the team at Blizzard Entertainment has taken it upon themselves to reveal two new heroes that will be making their way to the Overwatch starting lineup. Introducing the futuristic gunslinger, Jesse McCree, and the frontline soldier, Zarya.

ArenaNet is at PAX East this weekend showing off the first demo for Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns at booth #5116. If you are not at PAX East and are wanting to play Heart of Thorns, you may be in luck as ArenaNet has started sign-ups for the HoT beta! The PAX East weekend is also hosting the World Tournament Series Final on Saturday, starting at 10am Eastern. The Grand Finals round is estimated to start around 4pm Eastern.

Last week I had the chance to visit the ArenaNet studios to get an early look at the Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns demo that players will be able to play at PAX East this weekend and again at EGX Rezzed in London the following weekend. Alongside being able to play the demo, I had a chance to interview Jon Peters and John Corpening, which you can read right here on ZAM.

This past weekend at PAX South, Firaxis held a panel discussing the link between Civilization: Beyond Earth and their upcoming game, Sid Meier's Starships. Creator Sid Meier had a live gameplay demo of Starships near the end of the panel, which you can watch below!

At PAX South this weekend, ArenaNet took control of the Main Theater to announce their first expansion for Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns (HoT). We got a chance to sit down with GW2 Game Director Colin Johanson as well as President and Co-Founder of ArenaNet Mike O’Brien to get more details about HoT. If you missed the announcement, you can find an overview of all the features the two revealed during the announcement here on ZAM.

Many people guessed that Heart of Thorns was going to be the first expansion for Guild Wars 2, but that didn’t steal the thunder from ArenaNet as Mike O’Brien took to the stage and showed off the announcement trailer for the game’s first expansion pack.
