Times below are in Eastern Time.

11:33 - Nintendo released a ton of trailers yesterday, though mostly for eShop games.
11:59 - Here we go! Ooh, claymation! Great intro to the event. This intro sequence is legendary.

12:02 - Oh, it's a lead-in to Super Smash Bros. for WiiU! Nintendo reveals that players can have their own Mii in Super Smash Bros. as the Mii Fighter! They show footage of various Miis fighting familiar SSB characters. There are three varities of Mii fighter: Brawler, Swordfighters, Gunners, treated as separate characters. Players can also choose their special moves.
12:06 - Now there's a trailer to show off the 3DS version of SSB. It actually looks pretty robust.

12:08 - Reggie gives a general introduction to the event, and leads into the Nintendo Figurine Platform. The figurines are part of a line of "toys to life" called amiibo. When touched to the Wii U gamepad, they "spring to life" in the game. Figurines can also receive information. First title using amiibo will be SSB: Wii U. Mario Kart 8 will take advantage of this in the future.

12:51 EDIT - There's a lot behind these amiibo figures. In SSB, they're unique figurines that improve over time. They train to improve stats and expand tactical abilities. You can customize them to some degree. They're like one-of-a-kind CPUs. There will also be a perhipheral down-the-road that lets you use your figurines with your 3DS. Lots to take in!

12:13 - Yarn Yoshi coming up? A few developers are sitting in a yarn shop. Looks like that's right! Here's Yoshi's Wooly World. Looks like it was retitled. The game looks as good as ever; love the game's aesthetic. The yarn seems to behave in interesting ways. Yoshi himself is made of yarn, making for neat visuals and moves. The developers talk about general elements of gameplay, but nothing specific to mention. RELEASE DATE: 2015.

12:17 - Now Toad is doing silly Toad things. He's romping around an isometric 2.5D world. The Wii U gamepad is shown doing things from a first-person perspective. The game looks very good and glowing. NEW TITLE: Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

12:19 - The Legend of Zelda time! Developer talks about the history of the series' development. Lots of Windwaker footage. The developer snaps his fingers, and a lush landscape pops up behind him. It looks fantastic! The wind is blowing, and the world looks vast (and detailed). No title given.
12:22 - Some kind of robotic spider beast chases Link down and blows up the forest! What? RELEASE DATE: 2015.

12:23 - Real-life footage of someone walking into a cave. A pokeball is in their backpack. They glance at a cave wall, and Pokémon are painted on. Suddenly it explodes into a vista of action. Tons of Pokémon: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire footage! Too much happening too fast to describe. RELEASE DATE: November 21st, 2014.

12:24 - Suddenly, the screen is filled with intense Bayonetta 2 footage. She's dancing around and smashing enemies to bits. Looks like both Bayonetta games will come in one package for Wii U. RELEASE DATE: October 2014.

12:26 - Here comes Hyrule Warriors! It's the Dynasty Warriors style Zelda game. Link, Zelda, Impa, Midna are playable; lots of others will appear. Looks like it will please fans of both franchises. RELEASE DATE: September 26, 2014.

12:30 - Kirby: Canvas Curse 2? Definitely! Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. Very similiar to the first game, but expanded upon and continually polished.

12:31 - Unknown Monolith Soft title. It's Xenoblade Chronicles X! Tough to describe without actually watching the trailer.

12:33 - Some kind of Super Mario editor! It'sa Mario Maker! Interesting. Oh, neat, the levels you create can be played in both classic and modern styles. RELEASE DATE: 2015.

12:34 - A trailer involving an exploding orange squid. NEW TITLE: Splatoon! Multiplayer game. You claim territory by splattering ink all over the map. Team with the most map coverage at the end of the match wins. You can move between person and squid, with each form giving you specific abilities. It's a very neat game. Looks good, gameplay looks like silly fun! RELEASE DATE: 2015.

12:41 - Oh, looks like that's the show. Ending a bit early, isn't it?

12:43 - One last teaser video! Link? Animated fight scene with Kid Icarus? What does it all mean? Oh, new fighter in Super Smash Bros., Palutena! Goddess of Light from Kid Icarus. The video shows off all her moves which she, quite comically, narrates aloud.

12:45 - Another video is playing, Miyamoto pops up! Promises to show interesting things in ~3 hours, at 3:40PM ET, from the Nintendo Treehouse (Twitch, YouTube). 1:05 EDIT - Various sources saying the blurred-out screen looked like Star Fox!

12:46 - There, that's the end! Thank you everyone for enjoying the briefing with us.
