ok with the recent update they opened up here and the glacier but how the heck do we get there....
if you have to go there through the maw in the past to get there how the heck do you do it.
you can't go throught Batillia downs and as far as i know there is no ranguemont pass{s}...
in the present day there is only two ways. how ever i havent checked eldieme nacropolis yet.I will check tonight and post any opf my finding.

Description
The frozen zone of Xarcabard was once a lush, mountainous region teeming with forests and wildlife. This region was once the site of the Vahzl Mothercrystal. In an epic battle of ancient races, the crystal was destroyed, unleashing a powerful blast that forever changed this once-beautiful corner of the world.
Then, in the year 855 CE, word swept through the nations of Vana'diel that a mysterious Shadow Lord was amassing the beastmen forces from the cold reaches of Xarcabard. The mysterious Shadow Lord built a giant fortress on the western edge of Xarcabard called Castle Zvahl. It is in this zone that one of the most important battles in the history of Vana'diel will occur.
Points of Interest
- The outpost in this zone is at H-9.
- This zone is accessed from Beaucedine Glacier {S}.
- Watch out for the Greater Amphiptere, which has true sight and flies near the outpost.
- Other true-sight mobs in this zone include Gorgotaurs, Ruly Imps and Tarbotaurs.
Maps
The Map of the Northlands Area, which includes Xarcabard {S}, is a reward from the quest Her Majesty's Garden.

Start out in Batalia Downs (S) by either using the Campaign teleporter or the Cavernous Maw.
The just walk up the hill to the tunnel (no obstacle in the past), zone into Beaucedine Glacier (S) and follow the regular route to the Xarcabard (S) zone.
If you have the maps in the present then you will also have them in the past.
n.b.: watch out for True-Sight mobs along the way (imps and taurus).
