GM have maxed out gear all the way around they're sword is 100 dmg and there bow and arrows are too.. i think all of there equip is in 50-100 def but none of the equip has any bonus to stats so at lvl 1 they are ACTUALLY lvl 1 with AWESOME armor so things in the high lvls can still kill them it just takes a lot like maybe 40 monsters link and all use there tp attacks at exact same time while 20 bogys apear and then 40 skeletons and then 100 gobs and 400 orcs and 600 yagudo and 700 quadav and 800 giants and 900 wierd fish like men from norg region and 1000 of something else??? lol
ummm GMs are ok but to be judged by 1 guy is not a good thing it has to be at least 3 judges to makje a decision weather to help or not :S GM is abuse ABUSE I TELL U M AUAHAHAHAHAH ... cough* sorry
I'm pretty sure one GM died in Dynamis while it was being playtested, and had to be Raised liike a normal player. I think Isaw that in a Dynamis video somewhere.
I talked to a GM and they don't play on their GM chars, they only help people on them. They have normal accounts just like everyone else that they play on. You might have played with one already.
Well, I had the opportunity to question one of the GMs (in-game) Thunderan. He says that they work at Sqaure at a factory. The one he said he worked at was stationed in San Diego, California. I wanna work there some day. ^^
I wish I was a GM,but there is so much to do before i can be one. I mean we have like a lvl 15 shield and its all like +4 defense, theres is at lvl 1 and +50.....thats ****ed up.
first GMs dont fight, except during testing times (perks of being an employee their i guess) so they vouild have a shield with 100 defense it wouldnt make a difference. i dont know but dont think they have any stats but if they do there probably all maxed. they dont draw agro because from what i hear there usually not even in the game...there in a forum like place(similar to this one i guess) and they look at problems people have, so to that server and the exact point of the character and fix whats wrong and they also have the choice of weather or not they want you to see them (i know this because once i had a problem and after it was fixed the surrounding people asked what he looked like so he showed him self for a second and said "This is what Game Masters look like!" and left)
It's the difference between PLAYING the game and WORKING FOR the game, I think. I wouldn't be surprised if the GMs have flags or codes to set 0% xp loss on death, automatic effect: Reraise, Teleport-To-Any-Zone-Point, and never attracts random aggro. That's not to say that they don't necessarily have characters for actually PLAYING as well, but I don't know that they'd be marked as GMs. Maybe it's like Mentor status, something you can turn on/off, I don't know, but the point is, when they're going around in full GM gear handling player help requests, I don't think they're busy camping NMs and such.
Yea, basically the GM's an invunerable to almost anything. The only thing that could really hurt them would be one of the high end HNM's like King Behemoth or Kirin. But since they're employees of Square they get all sorts of special abilities. I belive that they are a special race/class (Prolly Judge Race, with Judge/Judge for class) that prolly gives them max stats at level 1. And they have the ability to teleport to any zone in the game, and probably the ability to deathtouch (insta kill) any monster in the game.
GMs are level 1 except Sagesundi, and as such are vulnerable to anything a Lv.1 would be. When you see a GM in an area with aggroing mobs, they have a setting active that makes them draw aggro, makes then invulnerable, and gives them autokill.
If I cared to find it I'd post a link to a picture of a GM who forgot to put up such settings and got killed in Fei'Yin.
