Apparently chr affects your hate, how quickly it disappears, i'll use an analogy here; lets say hate is like a bucket of water, voke throws in 1 litre and flash throws in 1.5 litres, now if i cure IV it does 2.5litres, tank and i have same hate accumalated, now i think chr is how big the hole in the bucket but the more chr the smaller the hole, it would explain why bards tend to pull hate in long drawn out fights due to their high char. Should what i've just said be correct then chr isn't exactly helpful to you, it'd be more helpful to a tank, i think the blessed set are better anyhow. Though saying this, should you want to sub brd... .... (?why) then it'd be of use.

Just have to throw this out... WHM can sub /BRD for refresh. Refresh makes a WHM happy. That is all.

CHR has nothing to do with hate. proof

lso, CHR does nothing for ballad, only ballad +1 instruments will effect the duration of ballad, CHR only helps offensive songs stick. CHR however does effect some weapon skills and some believe it helps job abilities too, maybe it helps divine seal or something.

also, enfeebling spells are either INT- or MND-based, the BLM/RDM ones are int, and WHM ones like paralyze/slow etc are MND.

nice analogy... CHR is supposed to help certain spells stick to you/party and/or the opponent. Higher CHR should mean that enfeebles will have a higher chance of landing making life easier. This is probably why Melody Earring has suddenly become popular and why when i made mine it cost me 208k and now it would cost me about 620k (-.-)stupid price hikers /slap
