It does what it says *enhances gilfinder*. I've been testing it for some time now. It doesn't seem increase the gilfinder drop maximum. It appears to raise the minimum success rate of the gilfinder multiplier. In my experience it improved the upper range on a constant level when combined with the gilfinder trait.
I'm fairly sure this item adds about +5%-10% to the *chance* of gil being multiplied. It might actually give the trait with a very low success rate however, without the gilfinder trait it's not very useful other then the evasion bonus.
**This is an example not actual.**
EX.
With no enhancements 55g-200g (normal rate)
With scarf only 55g-300 (Very rarely above 200)
With gilfinder trait 55g-300g (higher randomness)
With gilfinder trait and scarf 100g-300g. (very rarely below 100)
A test was done on several thousand mobs that I normally kill. An actual parser test is needed to verify everything. :)
