how can you say this is useless food? it pwns for thf (early stages, at least) the attack bonus plus the dex are pretty nifty for Sneak Attack (how many other cheap foods can you think of that add dex and attack?)
besides, why use sushi when you can use acc gear? its not like thf do uber damage with dagger (besides, 0 damage doesnt get tp)

Don't try this food for skill ups....sold for 285g to NPC. I tried at lvl 75 for any skillups and got 0 for 5 tries on icesday. It was a little test try and no use but for guild points.
I subbed the Phanauet Newt from Carpenter's landing into this recipe and it worked.
Yes, I just received this recipe from the advanced guild member (i'm 69 cooking) and she suggested Phanauet Newt to me, so it is obviously interchangeable. The Phanauet Newt version may be 2 levels higher though, at 79, as with other double-recipe foods (like coloured eggs). I can't be certain, as she also suggested Herb Crawler Eggs, which according to alla are also 79, 10 levels higher than my skill.
