Ok Byakko's haidate kirins osode and seiryus kote r all good for SAM but what about Suzaku's sune-ate? are they useful? and if anyones on asura server /tell Zarrox (thats me! :D)

good for mnk they enhance chi-blast (mnd boost) but idk abot sam i dont think sm needs mnd, maby helps some ability >.> idk really

man i wish nin could use this the +15 dex would own so bad for there jins and the +5 haste would be insane for shadows and for dot man SE is so ****** up..... oh wait nin can use this >.> ..... who cares if theifs cant use this expecially since looking at your signitures, your not even ****** thiefs, i come looking for some info and all i see is /drool or i wish thief could use this >.>

this is one of the many pieces of equip i want to make my 75 mnk the ultimate powerhouse.... equips are as follows starting from weapon and working my way left to right
spharai (full upgraded relic weapon), bibiki shell (asuran fists is affected by str and vit), shura kabuto or melee crown (basically going for str up), chivalrous chain, brutal earring (for mnk/war of course), bushinomimi (str +2 duh) or triumph earring works as well, kirin's osode, melee gloves (subtle blow helps exp in king ranperre's tomb against skeles b/c less tp moves used and att +16 and chakra), flame rings x2, forager's mantle, black belt, byakko's haidate, and finally melee gaiters (for added subtle blow and the counterstance effect enhanced to help overcome all the hate i'll get with all that pimp gear)
btw i have 3/5 af2 for mnk including melee hose, melee gaiters, and melee gloves

id say he drops them about 2/5 or 40%~ but remember haste caps at 20% so more then that is useless. for ninja go with more "enhances dual-wield effect". I.E. Suppimoni nin af body, Brutal earring is double attack which is always good ^^b. And oh yeah, 15dex is great for Blade:Jin.

Wrong. Haste FOR SPELL RECAST caps at 50% (25% from gear/25% from spells). Haste for ATTACK SPEED caps at nearly 70%.

Hmmm, actually as KI had tested it (very popular thread), it capped at exactly 23.5%. Now, if you'd like to show me where some melee can equip 70% Haste, I'd like to see it.
Anyways, Haste/March is calculated seperately from gear and give full benefits. i.e. you can have 23.5% Haste and have Haste and March cast on you and have everything benefit you.
Wouldn't know anything about the spells or whatever you're talking about, but I'll leave you be on that point.

I'd love to get these, I'm 75SAM, unfortunately I don't have a God linkshell. But this + kirin's osode = yay! Lol
What's the drop rate on these things? Is Byakko stingy with them?

LoL yea it would be but think about it with all the dex gear they got for SA now another +15 Dex would prolly make it a bit too powerful XD then again im a nhoob thf so not sure if dex or agi plays the role in sa but im pretty sure dex is ^^ +15 dex on one piece of equip {Can I Have It?}
DEX effects SA, AGI effects TA.
They increase damage to the same extent, it just seems like DEX does more because you're always getting the critical hit off SA but not TA. Until you get assassin, that is.

I just got these this past sunday. I'm a 75 war/nin(also have thf sub) and 75 sam/thf. I'm wondering now that I have these, would it be better for me to use all dex gear or all str?
SATA + berserk + warcry + steel cyclone would be pretty scary I'd imagine with 50+ DEX. However would it do more or less if I focused on nothing but STR? Any suggestions?

You need to go STR. Having THF as a sub isnt' effected by having +DEX. The SA will just be like a normal critical hit, so the higher your STR is against the mob's VIT, the more damage it will do. Not sure what stat Steel Cyclone is dependent on, but if it were me, I would go for some flame rings and other +STR gear. Hopefully you'll get an Osode to help out with both.
Steel Cyclone is based on Str and Vit.

Now my war is 75 (my 2nd job as 75), I'm looking for a good linkshell to do those "gods" fights and get gears to my poor war. ^^

Woooot, finally got these this past Saturday (farming triggers for points actually adds up ^^)! I had shura haidate already, and after I got these I switch the shura in for WSs. But with these pants, spike necklace, Haub (dont have Osode yet), warwolf belt, lightning bow+1, SAM AF2 boots, and a sole sushi for 6dex & 5str, I have +42 DEX. You definately notice your criticals shoot up with these pants. I use flame rings atm, but I'm tempted to buy Thunder Rings now to compliment this setup even more!

these own...im next on lotting im a 75SAM and these are gunna kick *** i have shura haidate atm...ill use these for basic hitting for crits and haste then macro shura for WS

I'm a sam and just wondering if these would be better to use than hachiman legs? I would use shura haidate for WSs.

This is sooooo not fair. This would be like the ultimate THF pants if we were allowed ro wear it. I mean +15 DEX is like a lvl 90 SATA. And a THF with Haste? OOOOOOOOOOO I just love it when my WHM casts it on me while im Dual Wieldin. So sweet!

Our LS did a sky raid tonight, did Suzaku, then Seiryu and finally Byakko (no Genbu :( ) and I was only one lotting for this. We got Byakko down to where he had like under 10% HP and he did a back-to-back triple attack on our toughest Pld who has multiple koeing and crimson and took him out immediately, then killed the 2nd Pld just as fast with a triple attack then cyclone claws. He began running around going on a Guivre style massacre and I was sure we were gonna wipe so I started kicking the dead and inviting anybody and everyone was firing off 2 hours. The Ranger who d/c came back, I invited him and he came in and fired off Eagle Eye Shot to finish him off. I saw "You find a Byakko's Haidate on Byakko" and I was like :O!!!!
I can think of only one word to describe this..."Crap"...lol j/k..."Wow" is more like it
Byakko seems to be the God for WARs lol. Type in Byakko's to the item search youll see these and byakkos axe, 94 dmg,atk+5,beast killer and i think wind damage(unsure) IMO thats up there with Bravura for extremely bloodthirsty wars like myself =3
