Yea, just thought Id mention these are HQ'able. Im only 2 levels above the cap(84) but I managed to net 6 instead of the normal 4. So probably there are hq's of 9 and 12 as well. *shrug*.
Not really, it's needed in other items, get some of the items using it, and you'll see why it costs so much (Especially for a Sam with those Tonosoma rice balls...those things are as good as two ochiudo's kotes)

Is it just me or is this the stupidest (mainly because of its insane expense) item you have ever seen?
the reason it's so exspensive is because it's made from a rare fish that requires something like 70+ fishing to catch. i think the fish sell for like 6k each. i guess the fisherman out there feel they need to finally make some gil after spening the past 6 months getting their fishing that high lol.
