i got one off a festival moogle a few months back. im only a 43 war and i havnt played for very long. how did i get one of these?

my RL g/f and I have 16 more days until we get to pick our next item. And you do not have to talk to the mog every day.
I had the gold pass since may, after giving the gold pass my g/f and I totally forgot about the mog until other day. both of us went and talked to him, she got her 12 chocobo ticks and the sprout hat, and I got my guide hat.
Bith you and the person who received the gold pass has to talk to the mog at the same time, or else he will tell you to come back in a PT with the person who gave/received the pass.

Just on a side note..the silver and bronze belts can be obtained by the recruitment program, after 100 days after someone used your golden world pass. Yay

Where is the moogle that u have to talk to in order to get the belt?Is he only there on the speacial ocassion?

Ranks are made by how much jobs u lvl'd, how much mobs you killed, how long you played, and how many pts you joined. to me, i think that it matters on how many mobs you killed and avg lvls of all your jobs put together, give it a shot.
you have to talk to this moogle every rl day for every day of the 8 special event day things...

Well, I read the other moogle belt threads, and it seems that one needs to excel at many aspects of the game, the one time I spoke with the moogle he told me I spend too much time in my mog house, and I got a 5 ranking. Well, mad props to anyone that can get one of these, dam I want one tho, but it ain't gunna happen.

Unfortunatly this item is a 'Legacy' item, it was from an event over 2 years ago, not long after the Japanese release date. Bassically it shows how long you've played if you actually have one. They can't be sold from the AH, it has hp+1% and water +1. I would like to express my disapointment if they don't redo the event for us Americans, though it was compared to the halloween items by the GM I talked to.
They are back ^^ I got a silver-moogle belt yesterday from the moogle that's hovering near the gate in Windurst-Woods :) Tho the belt is pretty worthless for me, I'm still wearing it proudly whenever I'm in town ^^

it's not worthless if you ever plan to level a new job... how often do oyu wear a belt at level 1? never. now you can ^^

You can't get it at the AH. It's a Rare/Ex item. And I've heard it was given in a Japanese Event before the American release.
