these are nice because they stack but they give you medication effect so they are kind of worthless =/

Yes and no.
Yes they stack, but they are not exactly like Ethers. You can only use one every once and a while. Have not really used these so anything else would just be speculation.
I am pretty sure that you can still use ethers during this time.
