this rod has a hidden effect that doubles the potency of aspir and drain spells, it's well worth it. I wouldnt buy but i'd cerntinly use it instead of selling

I think that this item is useless, hopefully as a mage you won't be getting very often and need to get this.
Serket's shield, Simurgh's mace, and Roc's sword all suck eggs, why not this?

maybe it's nice to have 21 extra HP since it's for a mage...
I have it and it doesn't do anything, maybe it broke when I slammed it in the wall for not working...

Umm. The log it drops go for 1.5million. One of the weaker and less camped HNMs also. 1.5million aint too shaby and the living rod has some nice hidden latent effects dealing with aspir and hp drain.
Killed about 6 times...never seen a Divine log or living rod drop. Orz.
