There is NOT a treasure hunter effect or any effect that increases drop rate with this on. You can believe it if you like. I'm not going to sit here and say to you "DON'T KEEP THIS IN YOUR INVENTORY!". What I WILL say is that if you keep it in there for the extra drop rates you think you are getting you need to tell you cult leader to come talk to me so I can convince you otherwise. Tested: drop rate "omg". Verdict: Are you high?

The drop rate is NOT that horrible. I've helped 4 people get 2 each and have NEVER EVER had that bad of a drop rate. Stop smoking pcp. You said you are 1/267, then said you got 2 more rings? And 1427 in 5 days? No. You could've easily farmed the gil it takes to get Archer's Rings in 5 days...

They are all @#%^ing idiots. I don't mind for a karma attack, but I feel this post really needs to be posted. It'll be worth it once you all read this. I have an Opo-opo crown and that's all this egg is used for.

OK, for all that have been carrying around lucky egg and other "luck" items, they don't work. November 2007 developers at FanFestival confirmed, no special hidden effects for luck, no luck function in the game. So, the lucky egg still needed for the OO Crown, but that appears to be it. Of course, the items still do have some effects (as noted) when eaten, just not any luck in increasing outcomes of fights/drops/synths, etc.

a fellow LS member of mine went 0/60 on the R/E Okotes after eating lucky egg he was 1/61 >.>

farmed these the other night with my friend. i had no luck items, he had a 4 leaf mandy bud thingy. it was me (drg/thf) a drg/blu and a rdm. within 45 mins we all have Lucky Eggs. We got the first real fast, then waitd a while, then the last 2 dropd one after the other. we then went on to farm all 3 of us complete sets of lucky items bud,tail,egg in about a 2 hours total time.

i think thats proof enough that they work

how can you get this item(or is it impossible) in the easter egg hunt?

I use all the luck items..... Im not after a debate, I have the space so I choose to carry them, I think this is personal decision that people have to make.

I have this, Four Leaf, wild rab tail and the mill desk..... as a point of interest I get good Kindred and Beasty seals in ptys.... in one pty I got 6/7 that dropped. This is NOT my maths but a friend worked this out as roughly 1 in 7,900 chance.

Maybe it was just my night.

This dropped in an exp. PT. I lotted a 540 on it and thought I was screwed, but my 540 won. The next day, I went to see if I could get my keys for MNK AF. I intended to wait for a BST that was leveling there(there's almost always someone killing bombs), to let me lot on a key. Well, no bsts leveling that day, but I started talking to someone that was waiting for Serket, and he agreed to help get the key when he was done. After the bodies were cleaned of from the MPK fest, we began. First wraith dropped key. I then ask if he has time for bedeaux and he says sure, so we go there and key drops on 7th kill. Half jokingly I mention the Crawler's Nest key, but he says sure. So we go kill helm beetles for 2 1/2 hours and no drop. It started getting discouraging, so I decided to eat the egg. Next pull, key dropped.

3 AF coffer keys in about 4 hours? Sounds pretty lucky to me. I was using WHM 60, and he was DRG 70. Waxing crescent around 40%.

As far as I can tell from the posts here, there have been a grand total of 0 good tests done to see if this actually improves drops, and doesn't just make BRD's cry when you eat it.

Way to listen to rumors, go buy another Millionaires desk.

do you think it is possible that something such as DEX STR ACC EVA MND INT CHR etc could increase the affect of TH TH2 and just plain drop rates i had all this EVa+ boosting gear on my warrior and i got 3 travelers mantles in a row and when i switched for lvl 30 centrion gear i couldn't get drop at all just a thought but maybe EVA has more to it then avoiding attacks

Only lasts 30 mins now. Used it to fight Dune Widow. No drop though :(

All I can say is....2hours in Dynamis....no Af2. Then I eat Lucky Egg. 2 Pieces of af2 drop in 5min, lol.
