Even if it doesn't accrue tp faster.... it's 50 less delay than darksteel.... and only 4 less damage.  True, you don't have the str +10 effect, but it still seems like it'd be helpful to swing more often... at least for skilling up. Black Halo - Can I have it?
Yes? No? Â Â Â Â
Sorry but you're out of luck there. A common misconception as I also believed is that Martial weapons give you more TP per swing, but that is slightly wrong. It acts as a multiplier for the TP you have 100 TP=200 TP , etc. It only really works until aboutt 200 TP, it acts to double or multiply the damage done on your weapon skills. ><

People saw my name in AH history for buying this and immediately /t me asking 'What are you, stupid?'
I paid 700k. Price is not quite that high now. Regardless, there is a reason to buy this even though you have your trusty Darksteel Maul and Hexastrike. On certain enemies, you'll no doubt notice, Hexastrike is worthless (anything under 400 damage is just not worth it for me, maybe you'll feel different), even at 200% tp (300% with wand factored in) that extra critical won't be satisfying. For those mobs an earlier WS (like Seraph Strike or even True Strike on some mobs) work much better.
I know that whenever I go elemental hunting I'm sure to equip my martial wand over darksteel maul any day.
Its TP Bonus Is Effected Like All Other Martial Weapons, If A WS Is Used At 100% TP It Will Act As If It Was Used at 200, and if used at 200, then it will be like 300, not sure if 300 will act like 400 but thats all i really know
I'm not sure since I am a mage and I also don't have and "TP Bonus" weapons. I think the TP that you get per hit is increased (12-14% instead of 10%) I have a SAM friend that booted his up to like 16% a hit. lmao
edit: I checked with a friend, and it does work the weapon skill way of 100TP = 200TP
I just got this and I love it. Aside from the TP bonus, it has decent damage for its delay. For farming, this is ideal. Now that I know about the actual effect of the TP bonus. . .play time!
