Yeah STR+3 on pants at level 54 sure does suck. You aren't a ****** or anything like that.
Well he isnt. Why even bother to hunt it if you can get Royal Knight's Breeches for alot less hassle which give u STR/DEX+2 ATK+3 at lv.55? I agree these are retarded.

simple question...if you dont have the map yet, whats the chances of getting the map from the coffer chest instead of the AF? ive completed AF1, flagged and am 1/2 completed AF2 and flagged AF4 if thats information of any use.
AF is first priority drop

I would just like to thank Dargon who walked me to the coffer spot (and thanks to my LS leader Zythe who showed Dargon where the spawn points are lol) and helped me get SAM AF pants. You guys rock! BladesOfHeaven baby!

I got these in less than 5 mins...
This is too easy, go to the entrance at H-10 in Eastern Altepa Desert. Make sure you have Sneak on or Silent Oils. Also make sure you have a instant warp scroll or a BLM with Warp II and Escape. Just keep searching, I found it in less than 5 mins.

i got these within the first hour of looking for my coffer.
I went through the first floor a few times because i didnt know how to get to the second floor as i had not been there before. Then one of my LS buddis told me how, and when i went to the second floor, there was the coffer...right in the hole in the wall. i quickly opened it, got my haidate, and got aggroed and killed by about 15 anticans.
the death was worth the AF though :)

well! first of all thank you Vtomega. you helped out a lot and earned all that mercenary money i paid you (14k).
Did this with a 40 whm from linkshell, Vtomega and Vtwizard on Asura server (btw Asura means "realm of the jealous spirits"). Whm needed that troublesome Tele-Altep scroll (which requires finding the random pop ??? tablet in Quicksand Caves. I went in there thinking we would both end up with nothing. Low and behold, in the same area the whm got the tablet in 5 minutes. Very lucky whm. Then after 15 more minutes and some close calls, we were on the lower level when I found the coffer chest set back in a blocked off passage. BAM! Used coffer key and then it was that I attain AF5 at level 52. Now to level...

I entered the Quicksand caves via the entrance just north of the korroloka tunnel exit in easter altepa. I went as a 52 sam with whm subbed. all the monsters here checked Tough to me.
The map you enter has 3 treasure coffers as pointed out by a japanese site. This site points out treasure and coffer chests on all maps, very very helpful. The map is really small anyway and there are plenty of spots to recast sneak, i was never in any danger.
I had a friend with me who needed the map so we both were lookin. It was in the very 1st room we found ^^ what luck. I had to drop sneak to get my AF out of the coffer and i got attacked by 3 anticans but a chainspell + Escape got us out quick. We went right back in to get his map and low and behold the very next room we check has a coffer chest^^
If we didnt stop to kill spiders and get some skilups we would have been done with both our quests in about 10 minutes.
