I comleted this fight last night with me 60sam,a 67 whm, a 62 blm , a 63 war, and a 74 nin..we owned those demons... nin ran in 1st and gathered them up and the rest of us Gang Banged them Prison style..just make sure you kill them in this order Gaki>onki>rensatu....we set the record on Asura...the only time ill have all the AF on at 1 time is when im running around jeuno and looking badass....cheers

So do you have to have this helmet on during the whole meditate state to get the 120-140% TP Bonus?
Or do can you just equip the helmet, meditate, switch to another helm, and still get the 120-140% TP bonus?

Okay so i read everyone else’s posts and i figured this would be a really hard fight. I tried for 3 weeks to try to get a group with no luck. Well a crazy lvl 75 mnk friend of mine suggested we do it alone. Me as sam 60/smn 6 to use carby to pull the Demon’s one at a time. well as it turned out a lvl 60 rdm and a lvl 75 rng joined us. Well pulling the demons one at a time with carby did not work. We got all the demon’s at once including the smn demons fire ele. I died then the rdm then the Smn and drk demon’s were killed then the mnk died. and we won with the rng killing the blm demon with 40 hps left. Well i just thought i would share the fun story with you all.

Posted: Sep 25 2005 at 3:22 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ok, I did this on my character (Datz, Bismark 59 Samurai) and um the 24 hour thing is a big lie, I turned my gold thread in at about midnight last night and I just picked my helm up at 3 this afternoon. so maybe its JP midnight or the same time frame where guild items reset. any thoughts?

i just got this yesterday and the hardest part of the quest isnt fighting the demons, i beat them in a record time 3min even, it was the constant runnin around and back and forth to Norg then waiting the 24 hours, that was annoying.

I gotta say... this was kinda hard, but really fun. my party was like this:

Rdm 75
Rdm 60
Pld 70
Sam 58 (me)

We went in there through up Warding Circle, and went into full attack on the blm demon first. Killed it fairly quickly. Then we went after the drk demon, not too bad, had a couple times where we had to do some serious healing. Me and the other sam used our 2hr's on this one. Finally we got the smn Demon about down to about 5% health... when he used his 2hr with Ifrit o.O. Killed me along with pld, rng, rdm and the other sam. Only the lvl 75 rdm lived with blink and stoneskin. She used water spell on it and it died.
I still got my helmet even though i died since the rdm killed it. Just gotta say was fun and i finally look like the pictures in the instruction manual. lol. Except i'm a taru >.>

Ok, so it changes meditate from 100 to 120/140, but what about the Warding Circle enhancement. Does it last longer? Or is it more potent or something?

Mind actually enhances the effectiveness of elemental weaponskills. This is most of the reason MND is found on many pieces of melee AF.

120-140 TP. The number is random. Sometimes you get 120, sometimes 140.

MInd affects your resistance against magic attacks, so it helps with that if nothing else.

This is the best looking SAM AF, it's so sessy!
So what do you think about the whole SAM set overall?
Looks good, just wish it had the functionality that the drg set has. Man, if every emnity+ stat was ann acc+ that would be sweet ^^

yeah, my samurai is only at level 44. I'm looking forward to wearing this stuff around town, even if not all of it is used often in party. Most of the AF gear for the different jobs I've done is nice looking~ so I keep it until I stop using one of the pieces and store it =3
