Can be useful for Flagellant's Rope, which gives +8% haste while paralyzed.

OMG! Never mind! These potions are TERRIBLE! I just tested it, and it will literally cause you to be paralyzed 100% of the time. I would have died if my friend wasn't with my subbing /dnc and was able to heal it off of me.

I'm using this potion for alchemy lvling up right now on the lvl 72 stun katana. It's hard to find stock on AH for it though.

I accidentally ate one of these instead of using a Water crystal once, and the paralyse effect is VERY strong. I think 100%. Cuz I kept trying to cast Paralyna on myself, failed about 30 times in a row and then the paralyze wore off by itselfs lol.

I don't know about Paralyze, but some Poison is stronger than others. If you use a poison potion your poison is fairly weak, so sometimes people use poison potions as a way to induce weak poison upon themselves so that the strong poison has no effect. Just a thought.

The purpose of most of the potions that cause negative status effects is not to be used directly, but to be applied to weapons through alchemy. The resulting weapons cause the status effects when they hit your target.

a use for a potion similar to this is the blind potion (induces blindness).If you have a bat earring equipped (evasion +10 when blinded) these potions could be quite useful

This potion falls out of a White Jar awhile after you buy it. But why do I want a paralyze potion? Anyone know? Maybe I want to use it for a quest?
