its hard to get good gear as it is let alone GS putting the price up ten fold man i'm screwed as it is but i feel sorry for thows who haven't started yet
So we got a person who is bring Gilsellers into Dynamis on Cait sith named Ryudo. They are trying to sell currency for 50k per single unit and 5mil per 100 unit. Well I guess Relic weapons will become harder to get if you plan on buying currency from these FOOLS.
by the way...
THIS IS STUPIDITY!
Considering if your going to sell them for that much why buy it when EVERY ONE ELSE sells for 15k??????????????????? Really its pretty stupid
Jump on the band wagon if your on cait sith!
DO NOT BUY OVER PRICED MONEY
chances are they are being sold by gilseller mules and/or Ryudo's henchmen.
Yup, i saw this beast the other day on Caitsith and i must say the weapon stats are awesome, but it looks kinda crappy lol, it looks like a trident but kinda rounded off on the prongs. I also heard that "Geirsgokul" has the same graphics type as Impulse Drive, not sure if it is a twofold attack though. Nevertheless i was following this guy around with my mouth wide open for about 30 mins :O
as you can see this is one kick *** spear, also the Geirskogul Weapon Skill: from what ive heard rumors of its very similar to the weapon skill Impulse Drive which is only 2 hits.
here are the stats of the final form Name: Gungnir Type: Lance Level:75 Damage:100 Delay:492 Job/s:DRG Effects: Accuracy+20 "Geirskogul" Additional effect: Weakens defense Final Weapon Skill:Geirskogul
this a pretty sweet weapon but to get it you need to "smith" it over a 4 week period I believe http://mysterytour.web.infoseek.co.jp/ffxi/us/ ^-Synth Recipes-^
Relic weapons are drops from mobs in Dynamis. When they drop, the lotting like mad happens for them, because even though they are all 999 delay, no bonuses, 1 damage, there is a long 'quest' of sorts to upgrade them to the best weapons in the game.
It begins with Switchstix, the goblin NPC just inside Castle Zvahl. He will upgrade any relic weapon you bring him provided you give him the materials he asks for and his payment (always in ancient dynamis currency). To upgrade the Relic Lance (which drops in Dynamis-San d'Oria) to the 2nd stage relic weapon, for example, you must give him a piece of Lancewood Lumber, an Orichalcum Ingot and a spool of Arachne Thread. His payment for the upgrade is 4 Lungo-Nango jadeshells. Come back the next game day and he gives you the Hotspur Lance.
There are four stages of relic upgrades, and it requires a lot of time and a good deal of time spent in Dynamis (mostly for all the currency you'll need), which equals a ton of money spent on hourglasses just to get into Dynamis. It is neither cheap nor easy to upgrade the relic equipment, but the end result, the Gugnir, is well worth the trouble:
Gugnir
100 DMG 492 Delay, Accuracy +20 Added Effect: Enemy Defense Down and it grants you a new Weaponskill.
