I had one left over from crafting, so I ate the plain rolanberry to see what it did. Seemed to be AGI -4 INT +2. Didn't notice any max MP bonus, seemed to last about 30 minutes.
I just wondered what the details were of who to give the rolanberry to in order to bypass the 3 mages door in the inner horutoto ruins. I'm from Sandy, does that make a difference? Otherwise, is there anyway to get to the Toriganinininininini (sp?) canal easily?
You get the Portal Charm by giving Kupipi (in Heaven's Tower) the rolanberry, but she'll only give it after you've completed Windhurst Mission 3-2. So no, you can't get it unless you change to Windy citizanship.
u have to complete mission 8 and she will give you a keyitem when u trade her a rolanberry, it's a portal charm, it's for opening the 3 mage door, so you don't need 3 mages each time u go there
the secretary in Star Stree of Windurst asks me to bring her this as a souvenir while I'm doing 3 Kingdoms Mission, and after I give it to her she asks me to drop by some other time. But then when I go visit her nexxt time, she sounds like she doesn't know me and just says the same thing before I started the mission... anyone knows if she'll give u anything in return after u gives her a rolanberry ?

Call me ****, but it's not so much that Japanese people pronounce them the same way, it's that they don't have any such consonant... the Japanese "ra, ri, re, ru, ro" sound is halfway between an English L and an English R.
Thus translating from Japanese to English, sometimes it is difficult to decide which letter should be used.
