de-synth

If these things desynth, it's not from a lightning crystal. I just tried to split it with a lightning crystal and restore it with a light crystal and I got "Sythesis failed. This combination of materials cannot be synthesized." for both. Some things (like goblin armor) can be desynthed with a wind crystal though, so it's possible that might work.

These things seem to de-synth into something.
My Goldsmithing went up a bit, so maybe its a silver ingot or something.
Would make better use of them instead of just taking up space and making my mog house look rancid.

The best place that I have found to fish for these is in the Zeruhn Mines in bastok. I used a lugworm and got a rusty bucket almost every time.

I put just one in my mule's MH and got the bonus, although I believe with any moghancement, the more items you have with that moghancement the stronger that it will be.

Can they hold anything?
# Feb 09 2004 at 7:06 PM Rating: Default
i found this Area in Gideous the other day that had a pool of water in it. And some of it was bubbling up.

When I got to the edge of the pool and clicked on it, it said: this is Magical Water if you had something to hold it in then you could take some with you.

So anywsie...on the Gideus Map this was in the corner of the map...Upper Right I think...or maybe lower right....anywise I was curious becasue the map was colored in that area so I decided to look.

So has anyone been able to hold anything in these things??

That spring is for a quest in windurst. Not sure exactly which one, but the guy gives you the container for it. The rusty buckets can be placed in your Mog House or turned in to a guy in bastok markets five at a time for gil.
