Posted: May 30 2006 at 7:50 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) HAHAH Black Belt=Rare/EX {Impossible To Gauge} Quest MNK only so umm yea black belt is l33t but only for a mnk and even then about 1 out of 100 mnks will ever "see" the belt not have but "see", this belt is for several jobs why upgrade the speed belt in the first place is beyond me not like its expensive enough as it is already =D

100 million on Bismarck server, and WHM CANNOT wear this.
The information is incorrect. WHM can not use this belt, while WAR can.
I don't get why the normal Version can't be used by a WAR while the +1 version can be worn by a WAR. I re-checked Mysterytour and it lists WAR as being able to equip the normal version. Just pointing something out.

But the Speed Belt is rare enough as it is, let alone finding a 90+ leathercrafter lucky enough to HQ it.
For the record, it has never been made on Siren that I know of (it doesn't even show up at the AH, kind of like the BRD JSE body piece).

I'd quit the game if I ever failed that synth. :P
You'd quit the game a lot quicker if you were doing bonecrafting and failed a Scorpion Harness synth...5 mil for a venomous claw...I know I'll be investing in some overwhelming moghancements if I ever try that.

Heh. Speed belt is up to 13M gil on Odin. I think I'd rather fail on the Scorpion Harness. Either one would put you in an institution.
Heh. 90 is the highest you'll get in leathercraft before you HAVE to touch those six-figure synths. You can get there with semi-farmable materials (Manticore hides -> manticore leather + coeurl equipment -> Ogre equipment).
Once you reach 90, the only skillups will be from stuff that require ... Behemoth Hide (Behemoth Leather). So I'll guess it'll be one of those "Give me the leather, if I make the synth it's 500k, if I fail you're SOL".

500k? Where I come from this belt is a hell of a lot more than 500k
he means "If I suceed the synth, you OWE me 500k for doing it. if I fail, sucks for you" Not that the synth itself costs 500k, just what he wants to be paid for doing it ;)

He was refering to Behemoth hide being used for skill ups, not the speed belt. Check the post.
Well if you have 90+ skill at any craft, you can always make +1's of the lvl 50-60 gear and make more than enough money off of those...even if you don't get skill ups, you will be able to get money for top notch gear =P... I had tried alchemy for money and it was ok, but only did it for money to lvl up goldsmithing...
