It is a nice drink... yagudo drink is 2mp a tick and pamama is 2hp a tick, but both last longer and cost more. Just bring more of these to make the effects last longer if needed.

Checked this after the major July update and this still is producing the old effects.

This needs to be corrected if it is still using the old effect, or quickly changed in the game to match this! I'd prefer the latter! ^^
I noticed that they changed the info here on Vampire Juice a couple days ago, I just tried a bottle of this stuff and it still does the old refresh/regen effect which lasts for 1.5 min. Whats the deal here, are they adding these new effects in a future update?

If I can track down the terrapin on Fairy server, I will make one just to test and will post results here. But I'd be just as happy if somebody beat me to it. >_>

I think the red terrapin is a turtle and you have to catch it. I also seem to remember a fisherman catching one in a lake in Rolanberry Fields to the NE as you go out the Lower Jeuno gate. Don't know what level fishing skill was involved.

You can catch Red Terrapin in the Sanctuary of Zi'tah with a Frog Lure (and a composite rod, no brakes >.>), you'll catch bass too though. The skill if rather low, (can be caught 20, that's what i'm at.)

I've made these to skill up recently and decided to used them instead of occupying AH slots(they sell very slowly on Asura).
The stats seem unchanged - I used about 30 or so while leveling my Smn from 5 to 8 - so, unfortunatelly, this drink hasn't been boosted with the patch.

2 hp AND 2 mp reganed per tick, stacks with whitemages auto regen, dont know about auto refresh though. NO BONUS MAX MP!

I love making this...I level fishing skill by catching the turtles, then level cooking skill with this, selling to NPC for great profit. I sell em to PLDs too and people doing BCNM for even better $.
And no, I won't make rolanberry pies. Too many ingredients + doesn't stack + expensive ingredients = /em kills self.

And if that wasn't bad enough, I'd like to point out that the one-word description of what a Water Crystal does when you're synthing is "Liquefy".

actually, the word is "Dissolve"... so you just dissolve the turtle, not liquify it... (I wonder how you disolve the turtle though... mince it into a fine powder maybe?)

Within that shell is a tender and tasty turtle. I believe it would simply be a matter of extracting the "contents" of the turtle itself.
I once felt remorse for using turtles in some of the foods, but I just remind myself that the red terrapin is a "vicious turtle."

I think he means the +60MP, not regeneration. It will add 60MP to your regular mana total
To be a little more specific on that, it's just like Pies ^^ i.e. it adds 60 to your max MP, so you'll have a larger pool, but the added part will start out empty, so you'll have to rest or have some kind of Refresh on to get all that extra magic
Edit: this might not be the kind of effect it has at all >_< anywho, that's the way the items that add to your total MP work, at least ^^;;

The description of this is wrong. It IS in fact the same sort of thing as yagudo juice and pinapple juice. I just bought some and tried it out when leveling. It does NOT give extra MP like a pie. It gives BOTH a regen effect and a refresh effect. I didnt time it though. I seem to recall that I heard this was what it did a long time ago,but I had assumed that I was mistaken and the description here was correct.That being said,yagudo juice may be better for mages. For RDM soloing and for DRK or PLD,it may be of some use.

Does this give more MP like a rollanberry pie or is it like the yag drink? If its like a pie,this would be really nice for general usage. Usually I carry half a dozen rollanberry pies. That and two stacks of pinapples and a stack of water crystals is good for getting about one level.(cant make melon juice reliably yet) As for V,i really doubt if your doing the power leveling thing,that you have the money for food. People with money to use this stuff leveling are usally crafters or fishers,and that isnt usually compatible with the "quick and easy" philosophy of powerlevelers.

So is it worth it? Not sure the time limit on it but for a 60 boost to mana and +2 regen per tick, yeah i would say it is a very nice item. Too bad I cant make it yet lol.

To the guy that said a Yagudo drink is better I believe they are different types of food. The yagudo drink restores MP and this is a max MP buff. Generally +60 max MP would be much much better over time, especially coupled with +MP regeneration while sitting. I haven't tested this but generally the restore drinks have no additional effects and they have a note in the bottom right saying ___ mp restored over ___ seconds.

I dont know how you can possibly afford to use this to lvl. On my server it costs about 2500-3500 per bottle. The Red Terrapin and Rolanberry may cost about 800-1000 each. The costs to make it alone are like 2000-2500 just to make one bottle and you need a lvl 90 cook...
Lol, if you're paying that much for rolanberries, it's time to make a trip to Jeuno ^^; They're sold in the M&P Market there for less than 200 G each ^^; Then again, if your prices are right, that'd be a great item to resell on the AH for profit : D
not sure about the red ter thing but a stack of rolanberries cost ohhh 1.5 a STACK, wher eyou getting your numbers?

Um how long does this last as it doesnt give a time. But unlike yag juice this boosts your mana max by 60 which yag juice doesnt do..and it regens health. It might even stack with yag juice as this is a food item. Also given to a pld, this is a perfect affect as it might add to boiled crab (drink + food). So they get 60 mana plus health regen plus mana regen. Um can we say uber? And if it doesnt stack with crab, *shrug* then it stacks with yag juice so you get 5 mp regen instead of 3 from yag. Great for mages. Has to stack with one of em and either or this thing would rock for powerlevling as way less downtime.
This does NOT give extra MP. It is an item very similar to other juices,except it gives a regen affect to. I bought some and tried it out. It gives both a refresh and regen effect (same icons as the rdm spells even) It might be nice for a rdm soloing,drk or pld,but its prob not any good for whm or bkm. It doesnt last very long either. Yag juice is a better value for most people. Melon juice is actually a better value than yag. If you get your cooking up high enough,carry the crystals and melons. Thats 3 inventory slots for 12 melon juices. Melon juice regens as fast as yag,but doesnt last as long. Best combo for mages is a rollenberry pie (+50mp,+3int,-1agi,doenst stack) or pumpkin pie(+40mp,+3int,-1agi -2chr stacks to 12) and pinapple,melon or yag juice. The juice is only when things get rough. Its not a matter of cost,but how many you can carry. I have heard of items that give mp and mnd that are better for whm than pies,but I havent looked into them.

Those stats are according to Allakhazam, but on a side note I will say I think they add more MP than that, I use them reguluarly.
While these are not adding the same amount of +MP as pies, they do give that +MND and +HMP that any healer can tell you will go alot farther in in 30 minutes than +40 or so MP. Personally, I almost NEVER get to full MP in a good XP party because we are chaining and there is no time to even fill that +40MP. In that situation, having +2 or +3 HMP is ALOT more useful when you are healing in every spare second between fights. Other notes: 30min time of effect; stacks to 12; is a 'food' so you can use a drink as well ^^

if it is a "good" exp pt you shouldnt have to use as much mp even if you are chaining i had an exp in altepa that i hardly had to use any mp for healing and i was the only mage. i was a nuking whm.
yag drinks are infact better for a pt though because it restores mp faster and if your pt os good u shouldnt need the regen effect more than a lvl 25+ whm already gets.
