+3The Vision Ring is pretty much superior to the Balance Ring in most ways. The flat bonus to Acc. and Ranged Acc. is better then an extra +1 Dex.
Likewise, the Mighty Ring beats the Courage Ring by a sizeable margin. It would take an additional +8 Str. to get that +4 Attack/Ranged Attack from the Courage Ring.
The downside? No switching, and the effect dies when you zone, leave the game or, like food, are killed. These were going for 30k on Cerberus, but I didn't think anyone would buy them while they cost more then Courage/Balance, so I cost them at 20k and still make a decent profit.

Been using one of these from level 18-35 SAM and only used about half of its uses so far.
Use this along with the mighty ring and it helps alot, the only problems I get sometimes is when pulling and ******** up, since the effect wears off when zoning.
It also sucks since when using both rings at the same time, I cant macro in STR rings for my WS's, but I think the accuracy and attack boosts make up for it.

Has anyone tried using 2 at the same time does that work ?
Nice ring. Used it taking my WAR through the dunes. My parties were shocked when I used it; they didn't know what it was. Other melees seemed upset they hadn't picked one up.
Confirmed 30 min duration / 30 min recast, so you can use it back to back. 50 charges means 25 hours of being buffed. At a modest 3000xp/hr, you're looking at 75000xp gained before the ring burns out. Good for maybe 10-20 levels before you need to replace it.

If I had my way and if there were any Mighty Rings at the AH, you can bet I'd be XPing with both.

This ring is great. It easily replaces Balance Rings even +1. The effect lasts 30 minutes, so when it wears, just use it again. Dont unequip though cuz you'll lose the effect. Using this (+2acc), optical earring(+1acc), Neckchopper(+5acc), and rice dumplings(+5acc), I rarely missed. I had 300% TP before the 2 drks in the pty could get 100%. I highly recomend this ring until you get venerer or snipers. Great investment for lower lvls. I think i paid 50k for one on the Jeuno AH. Well worth it.

Great ring for anything with a Lv.20 or Lv.30 cap, like BCNMs, Garrisons, Promys, etc. Wonder if there is a HQ version...
There is no HQ for this items (Yet). I HQ'd one, but it is the same as NQ.
I made this and the Mighty Ring last night and tested them out. Here's the info:
-Lasted 30 Mins. Not rechargable, there is no HQ.
-Lose effect if you change the ring.
-Lose Effect if you zone or die.
-(2) of the same type rings will stack.
Edit: 10/12/06: Current price on Sylph is at 38-40k. I have a mule in Bastok Markets that almost always has these rings for sale. I also try to keep them up on my Jeuno AH mule.

I tested them both at the same time, they do stack (Vision and the Mighty ring). I also made a HQ, it is the same as NQ.

Well this ring isn't all that great aside from the enchantment, but then again This is only really good for DRK's THF's RNG's and maybe a WAR. Still this wouldn't make up for much if it only lasts 10 minutes, and the HQ version probably is worth it, but a HQ Amethyst ring +2 dex will last you until lvl 36 when you can opt for a HQ ring that'll give you +3 Dex. This ring would best be used in combination with a HQ Amethyst Ring use the enchantment and switch (Don't know if the enchantment will stay in effect if unequipped so someone plz varify this.) then get the +2's to dex going on each finger for a total of +4 >_> then just add other stuff as you see fit.
The stats is the same as the NQ dex ring with the add-on enchantment of 30mins recast for 30 secs duration? For level 14, I think this is pretty useless even if there is a HQ version. Just stick to the HQ dex ring (20k each maybe?), as those levels fly by so quickly anyway.
