The crystal was Dark for a couple days, but when they had the second update two days later they changed it back to Wind crystal. Messing up us Leathercrafters...

Yes the crystal has changed to Dark Crystal but the materials are the same
EDIT: The Recipe was temporarily a Dark crystal for about 2 days then changed back.

your basic belt. Goes for, like 1,500 at AH in Midgrad Sormr. I wouldn't bother Synthing it, since the chain costs as much as three belts.

Would you buy this for a thief?
This is a good belt. I used it to lvl my THF from 33-40 because i didnt even notice my stone belt which only gave me +5 HP because i barely look at my waist armor. But i found i couldnt use it when i was lvlin my WAR sub and decided to get this the Warrior's Belt after my WAR hit 15 and its been nice ever since. Thinking about making some Warrior Belts selling them, then buying a Warrior Belt +1 and using it to lvl to 50 ^^.
Well, this is in my own opinion and since I lvled THF to act as my WAR sub when I first started...Anyways...I found this belt pretty nice for me when I lvled my THF. The VIT helps with the dmg you take when pulling for the pt if you are the puller. It was also pretty good for soloing when I was doing a bit of farming against some gobs and other beastmen I could take when I was THF20 around San d'Oria.
That's just my input on this little topic but it's okay if you think you'll pull a lot as a THF and it's okay to have to help you farm and etc. till higher lvls till you can get something better.

New to RPGs I see, +1 means it's as exceptionaly fine version of the item. This means that one or more stats are enhanced. In this case an extra point of DEF.

It actually adds one point to everything it already has, so DEF 2, HP+ 4, VIT + 3, as opposed to the normal DEF 1 HP + 3, VIT + 2.

Great item, I equiped it at lvl 15 (HUME WAR) and felt it; as did my party. Give me a /tell - Server: Unicorn, City: Bastok. I paid 5K (/cry) Will be fishing or crafting for warrior belt +1.

This item i have equiped on my DRK, which doesnt help much as DRK's sacrifice DEF for ATK. For best results put this on a PLD or WAR and see the stars fly.
This isn't dropped by anything?
no only way to get this is either buy it at AH or craft it

Right now, this belt costs around 4.5k to 5k Gil and it varies from server to server and area to area... How do you obtain it besides buying it? Is it a quest reward?
