I actually did receive a moghancement from this item, but not Gardening. I simply received Moghancement:Earth. Basically, while in my MH I have a lesser chance of failure when synthing using earth crystals.
For the record, it isn't that amazing, it is a 7 level gap, but not crazy odd. I've synthed 7 level gaps before, just if he repeated it, he'd have many more breaks than synths.
Wow lol this craft is expensive and i mean really expensive, i went from 290k to 40k lol and i'm only lvl 28 wood, i dont kno how you guys make it up so high. I'm thinking about goin to hunt NM and get more money and get to lvl 48. But atm i'm trying to get the Lumberjack key item. and its crazy lol. well if u're ever on Ifrit Server stop by and say hi ..... im always interested in new frends :)
Ok i have a problem. How the hell do u guys put the table into the moghouse? I have it in my mog safe, i click layout and choose the table, i see the table in the middle of the room...then what do u do after that? i cant click anything and i cant move the table. The only way to exit is if i hit escape and then the table dissapears...help me out.
This is the item you need to trade to cheupirudaux in north san d in order to pass the level 10 woodworking level cap. I've already submitted the correction via email.
I've been messing with the new moghouse abilities to try to garden better. After stocking up on pots I emptied the room and placed the pots alone. This gave my room the Earth attribute, not what I wanted. After dumping in the bench this changed to Gardening instead. I pulled it back out and added items one at a time, but the attribute only changed when I added the bench, so I guess this item's necessary if you want the gardening attribute.
Just a point of clarification. The workbench takes up one slot in the safe and adds one slot under storage. So there is no net change in the total amount of storage space in your house, as far as I can tell.
Something to note about this though, even though it takes up a spot, and gives you a spot back, the storage spot you get from furniture is only accessable in your home town, so if you spend a lot of time in other towns, you effectively lose a slot. Also(as I found out, to my annoyance) you don't have access to anything you put into your furniture when you're not at your home town.
I normally use storage for home country quest items. When I know i have a quest item, and dont have the time to use the quest item, or when I am gaining stacks for repeatable quests, I stick them all in storage. . . these are useually items of low value you will not need in any other country. . . just a pointer, that might help
I used lauan log-lauan lumber then lauan lumber-workbench to raise from lvl2-lvl4 just yesterday. i only failed on lumber about 1/15 and workbench 1/10, and got skill ups of at least .1 80% of the time. a good way to do this is to buy logs from the sarutabaruta merchant across from the ww in windurst waters. they are 32gil per log for me with max fame.
Not totally true. I made 1 Lauan lumber from a log and this workbench second. No failures. Never made anything else in woodworking. Top skill when making bench could have been .2, but I think it might have been .1 (from making the lumber).
I also was able to make the work bence with no woodworking lv. As a mistake i bought lauan lumber not knowing i needed arrow wood lumber to create arrows.. makes me feel like worm. Anyways, before bying more lumber i looked what i could create just for the heck of it. First try, i got it. Maybe it was luck. =) Atleast something good came of my mistake. I beleive my wood crafting skill rose by 0.2 points as well. I just made it last night. Now i made enough arrows that took me to lv2 in wood crafting. I am a lv4 at the weavers guild though...does that have anything to do with the success?? i wonder. Probly not.
