Can you buy a +1 or do u have to craft it? Im using the willow+1 right now lvl 18 whm and 5 blm.

You can buy one off of the Auction House, but you can't buy a +1 item from regular merchants. Someone somewhere has to craft it.

I use this as a RDM lvl 25 when casting spells, it helps them stick alot more often =D, but i always switch to sword when needed (tuck)

I made a couple of these while making yew wands for guild points, and just desided to turn the +1's in also sense they were being undercutted on the AH. 414 Guild Points each :)

At skill 61, when I found out this morning that these were the GP Item O' The Day, I ran to the AH to buy one stack each of crystals, yew lumber and feathers, and synthed 3 +1s and 9 regular wands. Turned 'em all in except 2 of the +1s, which I sent off to a mule in hopes that another city will offer better prices ...
Anyhoo, I've GP'd up on Yew Wands twice in the last few weeks and they are a refreshing "happy medium" between the "extremes" one often sees: either (1) super-low-GP items like Luan Shields (why bother??), or (2) super-hi-cost items like Cabinets (uh, yeah, I'll just whip one right up there, Andreas).

I really like this wand... I got it for my WHM when I hit lvl 18, I'm still using it at lvl 36, and I'll probably continue to use it until I get my AF weapon. Actually... this gives a better +MND than WHM's AF weapon... hmmm... exactly what are some good wand/staves to use after this? I haven't seen anything that really looks worth forking over more money for.
I also use this when leveling my BLM and SMN... such a useful item... spent so most of my time in this game using this as my weapon ^^;

Solid wand is the next step up at lvl 32 (+5 MND and INT)
I'm lvl 62.3 in woodworking now and these things are a pain in the crapper to make. Everything else is fine (Willow, Maple can get around 4-6 out of 12) but these are going around 1 out of 12. I don't know what the deal is, but they ARE good wands.

as soon as i actully see one in the AH im snagging it up..its a nice wand for non-melee's
this is going 2 be my new wand im a taru i dont need 2 hit ^_^
