Hickory Shield
i HQed this sucker, it was my first time synthing a hickory shield so i closed my eyes, and look up to see no hickory sheild, but yet a picaroon's sheild...i was like wtf!!! then i had like 2-3 fellow crafters come up and say congrats, i was like whats it worth 400k or so, and to my surprise it goes for 1.2-1.5 million gil on Fenir.
so like w/e anyone needs it its for sale at the sauramauge champain entrance to jeuno, 1.2 mil, or w/e, see it in a bazaar its probably me.

Just for laughs, I desynth a few Hickory Shields that I had made (actually I just got tired of them sitting in my Bazaar for forever and wanted my space back). And I was curious to see if I could get back some Hickory Lumbers ^^ Anyways, some desynths resulted in 4 Iron Nuggets and the others resulted in 6 Iron Nuggets. I only got a HQ animation when I obtain 4 Iron Nuggets O.o

Just curious as to how much this shield is worth on other servers. The tatami shield is 3.5M on Shiva currently, so I was wondering what a good price for this pop item would be.
For a regular Hickory Shield, you shouldn't pay very much. I've seen them go for less than 100k. The Tatami Shield isn't a 100% drop unless you have a Picaroon Shield. For the Picaroon Shield, I would expect to pay at least 2 mil.

Do This NM! He was fun as all hell! LS member nicknamed him MiniKirin because we found best way to kill him is to kite. He does a nasty Thundaga 3 and Thunder 4 and his physical attacks hit me, 73 Thf. with 3/5 Hecatomb and other great equip., for 550 and 620 2 in a row, DEAD! But we recovered and kited him. Took about 30 minutes with 13 people and no drop but we went farming for more lumber right away cause no-one could wait to fight him again lol. Thumbs up, this is worth the time and effort.
and btw whats the difference between the hickory shield and the picaroon shield... it says up top the same stats for each of them.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the HQ version of the Hickory Shield used to spawn the NM that drops the Tatami Shield? I've read they can both be used to spawn the NM.
I heard the drop rate using the Hickory Shield is like 33%. I have the HQ version a friend made for me and am wondering if its better...like it increases drop rate to 100% or something.
Someone offered me 500k and 2 NQ Hickory Shields for it, and that doesnt make sense unless it increases drop rate or something.
The Tatami shield is worth liike 7mil at least on my server. Anyone know anything about this??

Wth would they even PUT this as use of THF? i want to see a THF stupid enough to have this... show me them..
This shield isn't meant for wearing, it's for spawning an NM that drops a better version of the shield, which happens to own for THF/WARs and BSTs.

i would wear it, when i use /war or other job then /nin because 3 eva+ is nice and dont forget then +5 str, we thief need that ^^
