Is it possible to send a link pearl to someone in a different area. I tired to send one at the AH but it won't let me select it. Do these have to be given out in person?

Where can the linkshell item be purchased, prefer in/close to Bastok
You can't buy linkpearls. You have to be given one by someone in a linkshell. You can buy a linkshell for around 8000 gil to start your own linkshell and then you give linkpearls to the ppl you want to be in your linkshell.
