Mission OrdersWas it all truly decided before the dawn of time...? When the crystal sends forth its dark minions, only you can put a stop to them! WalkthroughOnce the cut scene from Gatherer of Light (I) finishes, check the ??? again to start a battle. A Level Restriction effect will appear in your status bar, but your level will not be capped. If you are in a party, only one person needs to check the ???. Waves of Seed Mandragora will attack you and your party. You will have to defeat 30 of them within 30 minutes. I went to the G6 in Qufin after getting the three key items, after the CS I click on the ??? didn't know there was a fight to be taken care of and I wasn't prepared so obviously I died. I came back the next day and when I click on the ???, nothing happens so I waited 48 hours and came back and again nothing happens. When I check on the Mission's Log it says that my current one is "The Gatherer of Light (II)". Does anyone knows what do I have to do to activate the ??? again? Thanks in advanced.

Once you have all 3 key items you can return to Quifim and get CS and do fight for next mission. IF, however you stop and trade items to gob in Port Jeuno it will say "This will begin timer for ACP4 - Gatherer of Light (II)". After you trade with him it will still show you have items in your key items for mission. If you go ahead and trade with him for key to get augmented item from chest in Tenshodo, you cannot do the mandie fight after CS until 24 hours. I know this is one thing that can glitch this mission up. After 24 hours .. return to quifim.. click .. mandies spawn .. life is back on track .
Supposedly if you don't trade you can do fight right away.

Basic problem: didn't complete the mission on first attempt and can't get the mission to start again. Message - "There is nothing out of the ordinary here." comes up when I click the ???.
I fought the Mandies once as BST75/NIN37 and was unprepared (wrong macros). After being hit by several "demonic flower" casts in a row, my hp was low and I left the battlefield. Mission ended without completion.
I then(10 min later) teamed up (party) with another player (thank you - Teeny) and she and I fought the Mandies. When they were defeated, she got the amber key and was able to complete the mission. I did not get the amber key and the mission status did not change in my mission log. After that the ??? only gave the message stated above.
Later edit: I had to go back and get the seedpalls again and was able to complete the mission once I had all 3 again.
Another note: mission is easier if you have /blm leveled and AOE spells.

After you get cs for returning with 3 key items and clicking on ??? in quifm , several waves of seed mandy's attack you(You may need to click a second time on the ??? after cs to trigger this). They are easy to kill but can do a "demonic flower" attack that hit me for about 250 hp as a 75mnk/nin. Otherwise they hit me for 2 or 3hp when they connected and I could pretty much 1 or 2 shot them. I think there was some level restriction in place during fight but not sure what it was, didnt matter much. I got the amber key and 500 limit poiunt as reward when fight was done. When i clicked on the ??? after fight, got another cut scene and told to go to fei yin next. Hope this helps...I was unaware that a fight was gonna happen until it did!
