SummarySelf-styled leading researcher of mystical artifacts, Zalsuhm, claims that the weapon you acquired deep within Nyzul Isle conceals immense power. Wielding the now unlocked weapon will cause a magical evolution to take place...eventually. WalkthroughWith your Swordbreaker equiped, talk to Zalsuhm in Lower Jeuno for a cut scene that starts the quest. The base weapon without any upgrades is the minimum requirement. During the cut scene, he'll ask a series of questions, if he doesn't like your answer, he'll get mad and not start the quest. If this happens, just leave the zone and come back to talk to him. Depending on the Nyzul Isle progress saved on your Runic Disc, you will have to earn a certain amount of weapon skill points using your weapon. See the chart below. Much like other weapon skill quests, you earn points by performing weapon skills and skill chains. One point is awarded for landing a weapon skill alone, two points for closing a level 1 skillchain, three for closing a level 2 skillchain, and five for closing a level 3 skill chain. You can check your progress by trading the weapon to Zalsuhm. Possible messages include:
When you have accumulated enough points, Mandalic Stab will appear in your weaponskill list while the Swordbreaker is equiped. Return to Lower Jeuno and trade your Swordbreaker to Zalsuhm to fully unlock the weaponskill and to complete the quest. Weaponskill points requiredThe follow chart shows how many points will be required for the quest based on the floor progression saved on your Runic Disc
