I've been searching around H-8 in the Sanctuary for an hour and found one 'target'. This is by a glowing stone monument with a tree next to it. It's a blank target which reads 'There is nothing out of the ordinary here.'
I CANNOT find a ??? in this area. Can someone please describe exactly where within the H-8 grid that I can find the '???'.

In-Game TextDescriptionAfter completing “A Test of True Love,” if you have sufficient fame you can speak to Carmelo again and he will ask you for help yet again. Due to circumstances explained in the cut scene, he will ask you to bury an item in the Sanctuary of Zi’tah in a very beautiful place at dusk. This location is at H-8 and is a ???. You must do this at dusk, but the ??? is there the entire time, and if you click on it you at the wrong time, you will get a message “Carmelo said something about dusk.” I’m not sure about the exact time window, but I successfully planted the object at 17:15. It should noted that the Sanctuary of Zi’tah is a very dangerous place and creatures will aggro on characters as high as level 60. Riding a chocobo to the ??? is recommended. Once you click on the ??? during the right time period, you will get a cut scene which will conclude Carmelo and Dahlia’s story. He will also give you a Siren Flute.

The area you are talking about is close. Best way I can think of is to describe it as being near the water. There is a ??? and you will know you have the right one when it says that Cameleo(sp?) said somthing about dusk. I got the cs and reward (sirens flute) right at 1600 so I that is when dusk starts for sure. The pos of the ??? is H-8.
The story of this quest is amazing, I really enjoyed it. Dusk starts at 16:00, make sure you zone before talking to Carmelo before talking to him and all the Pre-req's are done.

after reading the post for the flute going for 9.5K i was saddened but, did the quest any how, i like the story line. So.. imagine my surprise when i check the AH in jeuno on Remora... it goes for 200K. I am EXSTATIC! but then i feel sorry for the guy who only got 9.5 K for theirs, i really feel like they got ripped off >.<
This may seem like a given, but I tried to get the quest and couldnt. Checked my fame and it was hero. Make sure you zone between each quest. It doesnt say to do so.

I tried checking the ??? at 15:45 and got the "Carmelo said something about the hues of dusk..." message. I tried again at 16:00 and the cutscene began to play. I'm not sure when "dusk" ends, but it officially begins at 16:00. I hope this helps a lil'. :P

Probably common sense, but make sure you have room in your inventory before checking the ??? at dusk. I didn't realize mine was full, checked the ???, got the cutscene, but then got a message like "You do not have enough room to obtain the Siren Flute. Come back when you have less items." The quest was still on my Current Quests log, and I had to wait until it was dusk again (since the cutscene took long enough that dusk was over) to check the ??? again, watch the cutscene over, and get the flute, at which point the quest was moved to my Completed Quests log. It sold for about 9.5k on the Jeuno AH, which isn't bad for such an easy quest (possibly to make up for the difficulty of the last one <.<).
