So Foe Reqiem is like a poison more than an accually attack?
As with all other Bard songs, this one is very useful. It's cast time is just as fast (if not faster) than Dia and it does a very noticeable amount of damage at low levels. It also appears to stack when cast, so keep using it every 25 seconds!

I believe it stacks with Dia too O.O I believe this, because I started soloing pretty well when I reached lvl 7. Gotta love it :) The Bard Job, that is!

The cast time on this is very fast. 2 seconds max.

Most songs can be found in the AH :P
but enough being a smartass,
there are a few song shops,
my favorite is in Bastok Market zone, not sure of its <pos> but i know its on the Western side of map
Merry Minstrel sells cheap Carol line spells which is in jeuno
Spread around Van'Dial (however its spelled) there are shops that sell 1 or 2 scrolls, making it hard to buy all the scrolls from 1 guy

I am a Level 44 Bard on Siren server, All bard buff songs have same cast-time, and all de-buffs have same cast-time, and re-cast for all songs are the same, cept for the Elergy series which i believe are 30sec
this is wrong.. i'm a 45 bard(which makes me sooo much better than you) and i know that Hunter's Prelude has a much shorter cast time than minuet, yet longer than the debuff songs

I am a WAR and i got this song the same place you get the Giddeus Keys, from the same MOB that drops it.

Giddeus is a big area, he's saying he got it from the area of the map where the key droppers are. Jeesh... And you call him stupid, The guy was just trying to be helpful.

Yagudo Pipers in Giddeus drop this spell. Fairly common too, don't get ripped off in AH if you can avoid it, or try buying it in Windurst AH, since it's close to Giddeus, bound to be very cheap there.

Can any give an idea how much damage the foe requiems do? I know it probably varies significantly, but just an idea?

Okay, even though I'm not a Bard...I think that the casting time for this is not 8 secs but around 2. Waiting just for 8 seconds for a simple song doesn't sound right to me.
The 8 for casting time doesn't mean 8 seconds. Casting time is based on another scale... each number is a fourth of a second, so 8 * .25 = 2 seconds.

All the other casting times on this site are in seconds, including those other songs. Whoever put this information up failed to realize that while buff songs have cast time 8 sec., debuff songs have a casting time 2 sec. I think the ones that hit a single party member are 4 sec.
