This is great lol, all the obvious and non-obvious information for high jump and jump. Buuuuuut ive searched almost all the forms on here and found now anwser to my question... how much TP is gained from jump and high jump? Im not going to level then /DRG to my sam if the TP gain isnt good.
lol, I don't think high jump does much to lower hate, I did a berserk, crit, jump, double thrust combo then high jumped and nothin. it seems that I can't do a single thing without stealing hate from a tank, if only i could get a good one XD. of course I DO have +8 dex and +18 ACC XD. high jump doesn't usually help me out.
I'm a lv 60 THF, and I'll vouch that High Jump removes SOME hate .. Super Jump eliminates almost all of it though .. DRG's in PT's over the past 20 lv's have told me to SATA+VB or SATA+DE on em, so I do .. Then in seconds, the mobs back on the tank .. EVEN Ninja tanks ..
I've found the same thing as Emizzon says to be true... if I take hate and immediately do a High Jump, I always loose it right after the High Jump. From what I've seen, 50% hate is about right.
I have estimated it's attack to be 50%-200% of normal attack power.
Many of us (dragoons) have come to find that High Jump reduced hate level for the dragoon by a little. Used effectively, as a lvl 48 dragoon, a Critical, Berserk + Double Thrust, Jump (all hit for 100+ damage each) was able to pull agro from main tank. High Jump (100pts damage included) was able to lower hate enough for mob to return attention to main tank.
