well a few days ago i got under 10k so i desided to farm that didnt work well so i desided to go camp so NM's and first time i got the lizzy i got the drop!!!! so i suggestr that u camp that its not hard to get if u hae wde scan
can people please posts what they did to get enough fame for this quest. i have only done 3 bbastok quests. one of them is the drk quest. that is it.

Basiclly all I did is the Sheep Quest thing in Mhaura around 60x's. I kept on trading cabbages from South San O'dia. Since I am a White Mage, it was fast because of the Warp and and the Tele-Dem. Cabbages sells for 21g, last time I check, so I only lose 1g per cabbage. FYI, he reward you with 100g per stack of 5's.

Someone told me the way to max fame in Bastok is to do the La Theine cabbage quest for the guy in Selbina many, many times. This means carrying 20 or more stacks of LT cabbage to the guy, and then going back for more for an hour or two. I tried this, along with completing 25 or so different quests from within Bastok, and I still couldn't get the quest from Virnage. >.< My solution: buy the scroll. It's worth about 40k at the Jeuno AH.
i have over 30 bastok quests done and i have never done selbina quest, only the Zinc ore and i have this quest. I have unlocked all of the jobs in bastok

If they didn't have that system you could teleport a level 3 character to some place like Yhoater Jungle, it's likely made like that because some people aren't ready to go to certain places, it really isn't all that hard to grab a crystal from a crag, most people have them, so helping people who actually need that sort of help is very easy.

Hmm, I think it was a good idea to go by the crystal system. If a new player doesn't have to go through what we did to get the crystal, then I think it's a bit like robbing them of the experience in travelling to a new place. There's plenty of other ways to help out lower players later on in the game. Getting their own crystals is a small price to pay.

It should be noted that everyone in the party who wants to be teleported must have first touched the crystal at the crag for every particular location they wish to be teleported to, in this case, Dem.
If anyone has not touched it, they will not be teleported.
