Guys, DO NOT DO THE MINI-FORK FIGHTS!!!! Reason being is that if you fight the mini fight, you can't get the minifork back. If you fight the prime fight with help, obviously, then after the avatar is defeated, drop the mini fork. Go back to the guys and recieve your reward. Then after, if you wanna go back to the fight to help someone else, just talk to the guy and he'll give you the mini fork again so you can instaly warp there. If you do the mini fight, you loose the mini fork and you will have to walk all the way back to the crystal.
This guy seems like he gives a lot of people trouble. I did the Prime as a DRG75/WHM37 and solo'd him.
The only trouble I had was stun, but I had good lightning resistance, so it didn't last long.
Try having lightning resistance and do this on earthsday.

well the best way to get sandy fame up is to go to Kings Tomb and Fight bats at night around his tomb but at teh same time Fight Spook who spawns at 20:00 and he drops the Travelers mantle which is worth 200k on shiva so yeah i say best way to get sandy fame you get rich at teh same time peace out.

OK i know people are asking how to get Ramuh but i have some pritey good geer that mite help ^^

i am a lvl 25 smn and im missing him and finrir im pissed cause ive fought him 11 times died each one i never even get to use my 2hr on him he kills me in a single hit i send carby on him the nrun to the crystal i resummon carby he does thunder II and hits carby then judgement bolts me i cant even astral flow him i dont know how to beat him any hints would help ALOT

Hey guys, I'm a lvl 27 Warrior Hume on Odin. I am currently going for Ranger advance job. However, I've already obtained the Carbuncle's Ruby to become a Summoner. Personally I've never tried any of the Prime nor Mini avatar battles. According to most people, Mini avatar battles are way easier then prime avatar battles.
To be honest, I've already read so many strategy books and articles from numerous web sites and resources. I came up with this final conclusion; just do the mini avatar battles because it is way cost effective then the prime battles. Mini battles cost players usually 10-12k gil (for food and drinks) per battle. Ok kids, let's do the math here, there's what.. 6 default avatars plus 1 Fenrir right? Well, other then Fenrir all 5 avatars can be obtained through mini battles (Carbuncle no need to battle), which sums up to be a total number of 5. If you multiply 12k gil 5 times you get 60k right? According to AH prices, a single piece of armor for a lvl 60+ character can easily go over 60k.
So, would you rather spent 60k and get all the default avatars or spent 60k+ per piece of armor for your lvl 60+ character to fight the prime avatars?

well ive been trying to do mini fork and hav been unsucessful im on lakshmi if anyone will be doing the prime fight /tell me i can refresh and heal or even nuke a lil if need be

cmon now... your a level 56 summoner and your dont have ramuh... please dont complain about not getting a party, put some time into and get him... if its causing you that much trouble, try the REAL fight, not the mini-fork... your high enough lvl, lol

I would like to ask a question about fighting Avatar-Prime at lvl20 (smn). Is it hard? and Do i die often while fighting them?
fighting him is rediculous, theres no need for such BS fighting an avatar, he is the only one i dont have, and is causing me to lose PT's
