This quest was sooo easy. The chocobo guy was there and I had a map of the Ruins. I followed the directions above and had no trouble whatsoever.

Directions
To get there from Aht Urhgan Whitegate:
Having the maps for Alzadaal Undersea Ruins helps greatly. See above for details.
Get an Imperial Silver Piece either from the Auction House or Ugrihd (for 100 Imperial Standing).
Exit Whitegate via the tunnel at (H-7), or get a chocobo from Al Zahbi, to Bhaflau Thickets. Not Mamool Ja Staging Point.
Travel to (F-6) in Bhaflau Thickets. Note: You will need Sneak and Invisible if travelling on foot.
Trade the Imperial Silver Piece to Kamih Mapokhalam.
Once in Alzadaal Undersea Ruins continue until you see two teleporters.
Take the left teleporter. You will come to an area with two more teleporters, so take the left again (The brighter of the two).
On this much larger map, travel to (J-8) or (J-9) (either entrance is fine). There are Qiqirn along the way, but they do not aggro.
You will come to the Staging Point door. Enter and use the Runic Portal to return to Aht Urhgan Whitegate.
