intersting i just killed this beast after finishing drk af 3 ^ ^ it used firmiliar @ 2/3 all i got where is big stinky sockes

Do I have to make this NM pop, like killing a PH or does it just spawn whenever it feels to?
I heard this bad boy pops in G-8/9 on the 7th floor of Middle Delkfutt's Tower. Just killed it not too long before I put this post up. It popped in H-9 for me, so I think it pops anywhere around the square block on the map.
It dropped a pair of gigas socks and a maple shield for me.

Ok so I was bored as my lv68 Rdm self and figured I go to my old hunting grounds of Delfunct. After reaching the top I decided to head back down stairs. I drop through a couple holes and I see the tatoo'ed up Nm Ophion. I neva heard of him before I went a running full force since nothing should technicaly be able to kill me since Delfunct is about a 23-30 lv'ing area.
So I start to hack away at him and he use's a Bst 2hr to enhance his pets abilities. I see this and decided to use Water III on the bat to kill it. I had to laugh at that. So anyways.. wak wak dead.. I get 58gil a pair of Gigas Socks and a Gigas Necklace. So my question is......
WHAT is the real drop for this guy? Or is he a quest NM that spawns there but no one has discovered yet?..

His real drop is the Gigas Bracelets like all of the other low level NMs in Delkfutt's Tower, it's still not worth alot.
To all the people saying they, or their friend, or their dog got charmed by this, you're thinking of the wrong NM. Enkelados is the BST NM in Delkfutt's that is capable of charming players.
Edit: I was thinking of the wrong NM when I first wrote this post too. Lol. Ophion does not use Charm. That's all I know. ;D

hmm well anyway he drops more then a ice crystal for me he dropped a maple shield,gigas socks and gigas braclet.
and anyway this nm I killed as a 50 pld so it can not be to high, got me down to 1/3 health and 1/4 mp but he was fairly easy to take down I would say his lvl would be anywhere from 38-42.

I ran into this last night on the 7th floor. Impossible to gauge so I jumped it. I was surprised when it charmed me XD
A gil seller on our server walked by though and I started to chase him. (I'll be a pet for that!)
The charm lasted for about ten minutes. And since I'm 73, the mob has to read me as even or below to charm me. It dropped a Gigas necklace, Gigas socks, and a maple shield (Common item)

i got Gigas Bracelets drop from him
I was helping my LS mates on rank 4. BRD36(me), RNG33, WHM36, DRK36. We got to this floor and I ran past him with the ranger and he aggroed me, and she got aggroed by a bat. The other two got aggroed by 2 goblins. The ranger died byt he bat, I ran back to the other two with the NM in tow. We killed one gob and then a magic pot aggroed the WHM. I slept the pot(I think), and the other gob. The NM resisted sleep all day. Then the damn thing killed me, and charmed the DRK. the DRK then kills the WHM, and follows the NM around for the remainder of the charm. The WHM reraised himself, and raised us. It's on the 7th floor. The rest of the stuff checked as EP-DC to me at level 36. We got it down to half life despite having 4 or 5 other mobs attacking us at once.

He dropped Gigas socks when I killed him today. But Yeah I guess he drops the bracelet too.

This NM fell for my hammer yesterday. It dropped:
Gigas socks
Mahogany Shield
And I see this NM is listed as a Ranger. I believe this is wrong since it used Mighty Strikes when its hp was at about 2/3.

One of my LS mates said the other day that this NM actually *charmed* him, like a BST would, and sicced him on another player that came along to attack the NM. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

and this NM should be killed... why?
Never heard of this one but I'm betting that it drops Gigas Bracelets like the other lower level Gigas NMs. Gigas Socks are probably a guarantee, too. If I can find a spawn point, maybe I'll camp him to find out.
