Vana'diel Bestiary: Sarcopsylla  

General Information

• Time spawn amongst the Chigoes that spawn in the (H-10) area of Grauberg (S).

• Respawn time is rougly two hours after the last Time of Death.

• Sarcopsylla will spawn among a group of two chigoes. Though it is impossible to tell which is Sarcopsylla or which is a normal chigoe, if you see a group of three chigoes together in that particular area, one of them will be Sarcopsylla.

• Physical attacks have an additional En-fire effect that cannot be dispelled.

Sarcopsylla's Special Attacks

• Burn - Single target Fire based DoT with an additional Intelligence Down effect.

• Fire III - Single target Fire based magic damage.

• Firaga III - Strong AoE Fire based magic damage (Circle of effect originates from spell target).

• Flare - Strong single target Fire based magic damage.

Historical Information

Sarcopsylla penetrans is another name for tunga penetrans, the common chigoe flea.
