Well As I all ways do. is went as my 55bst/nin. also used my npc soothing healer lvl60, and my pet of choice as allways was keeneard steffi..
"To fight the NM that is" Glad I did bring my npc those drain attacks sucked all of are hp up! so my npc took care of that, and I used maybe 2 zelta biscuits on keeneard steffi. whiched never died! and keeneard was the paladin all the way thru the fight "awsome" never once hit me or my npc. Anyhow easy no problems except what I mentioned above.Also as mentioned in other post here below. "I recived my gun as soon as I got done" So maybe like one said before, you might have a quest opened somewhere from this guy. He is involved in other quest besides this one. so doulbe check and good luck to ya!!

In-Game TextDescriptionAs a 40+ Corsair (only need to be COR to activate the quest), go to Arrapago Reef and check the ??? you used for the Corsair Flag quest. During the CS, the NPC will forget the name of the area where he saw the key item you need. He'll give you a cryptic description where you can choose either Maze of Shakrhami, Ordelle's Caves, or Gusgen Mines. (I think you can choose any of them but I did Maze of Shakrhami.) At (K-9) on the bottom floor (next to where Argus spawns), check the Iron Door to pop a Skeleton NM named Lost Soul. I duo'd him as a 75 RDM with my NPC Pimy. It wasn't too hard but it started spamming Blood Saber (AoE Drain) at about 10%. After you kill him, check the Iron Door again for the key item. Go back the the ??? in Arrapago Reef for another CS. Then go to the Shararat Teahouse in Aht Urhgan Whitegate and talk to Ratihb. Wait one real life day until midnight JST and talk to Ratihb again to get your Trump Gun. k lol for the key is it 1 week real life? or 1 week in game? and u dont need a key for the second door it opens just by clicking it so u will only need 1 key.

Would just like to add that the ??? CAN be gotten to without the Lamia Fang Key.
It takes a lot longer, and involves a good amount of panicky, heart-stopping imp dodging, but it CAN be done! ;x
You basically take the Ilrusi Atoll staging point warp out to Arrapago Reef, and work your way to the ??? from there. Imps get annoying, but they can be dodged with patience, timing and - alright, some luck.
This map will help you out something huge, it shows all the reef maps merged together - you can basically trace a path from this. Didn't have to open any doors. Just sneak+invis and pray those imps don't move at the last second D:
But if you're like me, and you er, 'missed' the part about two fang keys, and just so happened to do this at the beginning of the week...it can be done. You don't have to be COR to get the second CS, either!

Note you do not need to wait 1 real life day once you talk to ratihd his son runs by and you talk to his son and he gives you the trump gun. if you get any other cutscene just talk to him again. on the lost soul i duo thf 75 brd 75 easy fight although he does use blood saber a few times which made it good there was only 2 of us to steal hp from. and i agree with the post above you will need 2 keys to get past the door you get 1 free key from the ??? each week so you will need someone to go with you or since i was the thf i just picked the lock the second time you dont need to be on cor at all except for the first cs.
Question, did all of you kill mobs for the 2nd key, or did a THF pick the lock for you, or did you have someone accompany you there with a key?

Went down to Shakhrami as BLM75/RDM37, and it was a complete joke. Can't be slept to well but using Gravity and bind it was insanely easy. Has roughly 10k HP I did end up manafonting just cuz I didn't wanna waist time resting and/or aggroing some lame bat or gob.

Im trying to tackle this guy as a lvl 41 COR/RNG. One of my friend helping is a 56+ PLD. Im thinkin of bring a few hi-potions. WHat should the rest of my PT layout be? Im on the Odin Server. HAIL ODINITES!!!(lol)
Should be noted that you only have to be a Cor to activate the quest, if you don't feel like walking though the reef as a 40ish Cor twice you can get the second CS as anything you want

Solo'd this fight as a 75DRK/37PLD. Just save up your TP, and unleash at about 20% Mob HP. I intimidated him twice w/o using holy circle. Easy fight.
Just got this Cor AF1 done. I Only needed to talk to Ratihb once. You talk to him and you get a CS w/ his son and his son gives you the gun after this CS.
Perphaps, some people had other quests they activated with Ratihb to finish prior to this quest. (which has nothing to do with Cor af quest)

i didn't have to wait a real day to get this...in fact i didn't even have to wait a game day. i talked to him twice and instantly received the gun.
