If anyone ever does this assault and can't find a mage, my group just completed 4 runs successfully without a mage.

the trick was, all 4 of us went /Dnc.
We finished every run with 5 mins on the clock.

In-Game TextDescriptionImperial's choice for easy farming AP for this zone!!! The objective is to kill all Mamool Ja to unlock the Rune of Release. Puks are scattered on the lower floor and don't need to be killed. The route I take is by starting off on top head towards the centre and pull surrounding Mamool Ja up to you. From here you should be able to fight the majority of Mamool Ja on the lower floor without needing to drop down. Fight the BLU at G-8 and drop down to fight the NIN besides the slope. Go back up to fight the WHM and another NIN. Follow that path round to fight a BLU and then drop down and finish off any mobs on the lower level. Once they are all dispatched you can pull the last mob which is a BLU down from I-8. Of course the order of your kills is unimportant and a party of 3 or 4 should have no problem killing all Mamool Ja within the 30 minutes for this assault.

I love this assault, very easy, can run in and grab a bit of exp and rack up the assualt points ^^

There are 13 mamool to kill in this assault. I've beaten it enough to get my Pahluwan Seraweels. Most of the time, I went with 3 DDs and a mage. The mobs spawn in the same spots but for the first few runs a job or sub with wide scan will make this easier. The best way to win this assault is to pull as many of the mobs up to second level and fight them there. Don't drop to the lower level until most of the mobs are killed. The Puk Executioners there are only to slow you down so avoid them if possible (they only spawn on the lower level hence, staying on the upper level as long as possible). You can manage around 1000 xp for killing the mamool at 75 so that will offset having the armband if you're running low on imperial standing. As far as the assault points, I think this may be off. I would get 900 without the armband for a 4 person party. Overall, this is a fun assault and fairly easy, I suggest you give it a shot.
