I took a peek, & here is a screenshot of behind the Gate of Light.


There is nothing else behind any of the other gates besides the gate of earth, . Earth has a switch & a cute little plant growing in the upper right.

Behind the Gate of Light at G-7 of the Inner Horutoto Ruins, you will also spy this Cardian.

I do not know why he is there.

I just saw this too. He's also standing next to the King of Wands, an NPC that isn't even listed anywhere in the database on this site. If you can position yourself so that you can see through the wall you can also target a third NPC named "gohu", who's invisible. This third NPC doesn't show up on widescan like the two kings do.
