Been checking up on this guy, seeing he should be around level 40, I gave it a go as a BLU/RDM level 55. Ouch, he did hundred fists several times, paused for a breath, and started pounding again; also did a few Shoulder Tackles especially towards the end, lol (seemed to have those ready very fast). I was never really worried but had my Tactics Pearl ready and poped my healer NPC halfway since I was in a hurry. A lot of HP so I used my spells mostly for skillchains, debuffs and a few head butts to stop him up a bit.
And the pumps I will use for some jobs 35 to 37 one day and maybe levelcap-things, but for now my mithra mannequin will have them on (hope they match her santa suit).

This NM was a lot of fun, he's kind of a fat old cartoon orc. He even pauses to catch his breath halfway throught the fight. As a BST72, I just let Courier Carrie beat him up (250dmg per hit). When he used Hundred Fists, it didn't even break through my /WHM Stoneskin.
I love the mannequin pumps, so useful for level cap events for either of my mains, or for any low to mid level mage job. They're great.

I didnt even bother recasting Utsusemi because he already had problems getting through stoneskin. XD

I've never been knocked back so much in my life, what a blast. I just fought him and he was of course a piece of cake at 74. I just took my time and didn't go all out. This is a fun NM.

Just got done fighting it with my THF50/NIN25. Very difficult at this level. I had to 2hr on Hundred Fists....but he did it again, so I kited him around with flee until it wore off. I was basically spamming bloody bolts the entire battle. It's do-able, but not a guaranteed win at this level, you'll definitely need evasion gear and capped Marksmanship. It was a lot of fun!

Was able to duo as Taru THF46/NIN23 and RDM46/NIN23. THF tanked it and used bloody bolts too. Gravitied him during 2 hour, however right before 2nd 2 hour he used Slam Dunk and bound THF so watch out for that! He was pretty easy otherwise.
I like how he emotes "Bullheaded Grosvez pauses to catch his breath.", that's new for a mob and a cute addition.
Soloed this as 66THF/NIN. Was quite the ego boost, a long fight due to his sheer HP, but fun. Some guys camping Orctrap start wandering over, so I figure I had better do something flashy. I shot a few bloodies to recover the couple hundred he had managed to nick off of me and finished him with a 1284 Shark Bite. XD

Easily solo'd him as a 55smn/whm, just let your avatar take all the dammage, maybe pop a yag drink, and you'll be fine.
I had to 2hour only because my friend, 30war, came to watch and got aggro'd by 3 shriekers mid-fight... Inferno did 1132 dammage to him and killed everything in the area. @.@
Very fun fight and an excelent reward. ^^ This guy makes me feel much better about all the other orcs that have killed me in Davoi. ^^; ~Aet

Did him as a 62 RDM... twice.. I had such a laugh the first time that I zoned and did him again.. this NM is hilarious.
He'll only break through Phalanx on criticals, but he was missing me so many times, I removed Protect III and let him suicide on my Blaze Spikes :)

way to easy, soloed it as 73blm/36rdm, only buffs i really had on, Stoneskin, Phalanx, Ice Spikes, he did more like 70Fists Paralyzed a bunch a times, way too many misses, i did him good with Flare, Fire IV, Spirit Taker, Flare... ******* spams Slam Dunk after his 100 Fists, then 100 Fists again... He never boke my Stoneskin ^^

I kill it as a 59SMN/29WHM. I cast stoneskin, blink, Protect II and shell before. I cast Carby and I made him pop. Carby attack it. I was doing meteorite when I can. Sometimes he hit me, I don't know how i go hate but anyway, I recast Stoneskin and blink when it goes away. And he use his 2hr. Then I was laughting out loud! It was like...

In all the fight, he hit me for about 50 hp and it cost all my mp tho to kill it. I said it easy for 60+. Depend on job you have i think soloing it at 55 is easy too. Took me 3-5 minutes to kill. There is only mushroom there so no link. But they aggro if you heal near them.

This guy was a pushover as a 63 red mage. I put up stone skin and phalanx as well as blazed spikes. I had to recast stoneskin and phalanx once each.
The funny part was, after I got it down to 1/2 HP, it 2 houred and did Hundred Fists. Well, my stoneskin stayed up and every punch it hit me for took away 15 HP from himself. He basically beat himself up trying to kill me. He dropped his own HP down to 0 much faster than I could have myself after he 2 houred. I even put my sword away while I watched and laughed.
I ended down 20 HP and 150 MP from when I started the battle.
The funny part was, after I got it down to 1/2 HP, it 2 houred and did Hundred Fists. Well, my stoneskin stayed up and every punch it hit me for took away 15 HP from himself. He basically beat himself up trying to kill me. He dropped his own HP down to 0 much faster than I could have myself after he 2 houred. I even put my sword away while I watched and laughed.

i would guess his level was 40ish. did it as a 70 blm and was total overkill.
on the wrong job hundred fists could be trouble but not likely. he hit a 70 sam for 3 dmg/punch with hundred fists.
anyone 50+ should have no problem.
