The September update that nerfed this was pretty severe.
He went from arguably the hardest of the bunch to a simple cakewalk. Nin's couldn't tank this thing unless you were pretty lucky/had extremely good support.
I remember fighting it a few times pre-nerf and it was a wreckingball with double-triple attacks hitting for upwards for 200+ per pop.
We popped it last week and two nin's dual tanked it without an issue at all. He rarely triple-attacked and when he did hit us, it was for ~100ish.
Lobais (taru) is probably the hardest of them all now, Astral Flow is still a killer even with the nerf.

Fought this in an alliance of 12. A few essential things to our success were having 2 NIN tanks and a PLD tank, along with plenty of mages backing you up for cures.
The pld was by far the better tank but the NIN's gave him relief by provoking every time provoke was up and using ninjutsu to get hate and give the pld a breather.
I successfully tanked this as a solo NIN tank but at one point I was down to 2 HP and it wasn't worth trying again. When he uses perfect dodge it seemed like he had a significantly faster attack rate - to the point where I couldn't even get Ni back up between his attack rounds. Flash saved my life multiple times but when he triple attacks back to back with criticals it's tough to recover from it.
That being said, out of the 3 times we fought him, I landed Hojo on him 2 of the times and that helped us out quite a bit. By the third time we just had the pld main tanking and getting hit for about 40-50. That adds up with the fast attack rate and by the end the mages were at low mp, but we all survived.
1/3 on belts from him. The one that dropped was mine... but I spent 6 hours tanking 12 of the NM's along with hundreds of fomors that day so it was a reward that I had to fight for.

2 bsts with charmed IT Hecteyes and a thief owned him.
Not an easy fight compared to the hume, but a fun and enjoyable trio effort.

this is the elvaan nm triple attacks alot, usual formor attacks and perfect dodge at some point. We had 2 tanks paladin and nin and about 18 peeps was very easy fight. Of course mine didnt drop though 0/2 now. Gonna try it soro on bstmaster just to see if i can/cant.
