killed this guy and didn't know it was a nm at the time, odd- sence it is so worthless- that it is a nm at all. Just a thought.

i saw his name and i remember seeing the guy before and i am thinking i missed a chance to kill him!!! well its not worth anything, thats good ^^

It's been fixed, they no longer con as Impossible to Gauge. Neither do the Ignuus Fatus's or whatever the Bombs in Batalia are called (they used to con as NM's too).

maybe the goblins camp a notorious monster fly and charm them,so you'll have to follow a goblin that doesn't have a pet to a secret place and try to get this notorious fly before he does

The goblins don't charm anything, i've killed a Goblin's Dragonfly and the Pathfinder didn't see me, i followed the pathfinder, and the dragonfly just respawned behind him, the goblins use a call beast, j/k lol

Its a known problem since the last major patch. They are planning to fix it. Not an NM. This bug affects MOST beastman pets.
The reason it's reading impossible to gauge to some and normal cons to others is probably because those of you with normal cons have fought one.
Any NM that you fight, next time you /check it, it'll be a normal con.
Or so I've heard. I'll hafta try on Lizzy one day.

If you kill lizzy 50 times, all of those times she'll check ITG.
Same with Argus, Emperor, etc. etc.
Whether you've killed them before or not, doesn't change their ITG con.

Oh, heh. *shrug* Like I said, I've heard it from people, never tried it.
Wonder if it cons ITG because the Beastmen used familiar on it? Or something like that?

Yes, it always checks "Impossible to Gauge" on the Goblin's Dragonfly. Very interesting.

Well since this isn't a NM, wouldn't it be logical to think that maybe this is a Familiared pet for the Goblin? That's the only reason I can come up with that would explain the impossile to gauge message.

I have heard of the same thing happening with the Elementals summoned by Summoner class Beastmen, specifically the Yagudo Mendicant. A party member of mine freaked out when an Elemental conned ITG, but it conned EP to me, so who knows why it happens.

Confirmed sighting. Interesting that it's only on the dragonflies. Goblin's Bee cons normally, as do the rest I've seen.
Pretty much yea. I have seen Yag's elementals listed as impossible to guage. Must be some weird buggy thing... or not! :)

only the fire elements of the yags check impossible to gauge for me, but the fly doesnt, but i think if your alot lower of a level of it it checks as impossible to guage, like the tremor ram the first time i saw it I was lvl9 and it was Impossible 2 gauge, but when i saw it at 10 it was IT

This is a pet of the Beastmaster Goblin Types found in Battalia Downs. The follow their masters around and link when someone attacks it. These usually are several levels below the goblin and as such aren't dangerous to a party who can kill the goblin. I don't know why you saw 'Impossible to Gauge' when you /checked the fly.
