ok so i went as 25war/12mnk and we had a lv 18whm, 20blm and a 25sam. ive kicked this things *** probally 20 times now and everytime it just keeps getting easyier and easyier.
but its fun to kill, i blast that thing with my bezerk and my 2hr also with around 200 tp and its through in no time

This fight was really fun^^. I was in Windurst looking for ppl to help me out and i found a whm Galka, and a blm Hume. We got to the burning circle, buffed up (no food needed), etc. We entered and blm Elemental Sealed and slept the Dragon. I targeted the seacher and Jumped it for 117 damage(around there, had Platoon Lance at the time). That was around 75% of its HP, next shot I killed it. Next I targeted the Dragon, Provoked it and just started hitting it. Jumped again, 70 damage i think and then a Double Thrust for 130 damage. The Blm was using -ga spells (not sure which one, too excited. It was my first boss fight). Double Thrust again for 150 damage this time and we defeated the dragon. Whm, Blm, & Drg is way more than enough for this fight in my opinion. Good luck on all who are going for Rank 3^^.

this is the same dragon for the BCNM to get Rank 3 for San d'Oria, correct? or am I mistaken?

This dragon was easy i did it with a 25whm(me) 25 nin 25blm all above but because of the cap sleeped the dragon killed the eye but when the dragon used a WS nin had 7hp blm had 3hp thinking fast i used divian seal and curega full hp all around :) killed it fast. drk crystal drop :/

Anyway, first we made the plan of sleep the dragon then silence the eye. We went according to plan and killed the eye fast then we killed the dragon. Dragon used AoE but didnt do more than 50 dmg. Very Easy

How can you comment on the difficulty of the dragon?
You were a level 18 war you probably just chicken scratched it
all the work was done by the level 75 blm he could have soloed it

lvl 25 cap man, only job i ever seen solo this is a smn. the dragon is still easy. it can be done with 3 experinced players. we do it all the time on my LS for members that need 2-3. best time so far was 2:20 with party as follows; drg/sam (me), pld/nin, rdm/whm, blm/whm, blm/whm, brd/whm <== member that needed 2-3.

Get this dragon yesterday ! 25War/mnk and me 25 BLM/Whm tought we couldn't do it so we waited for two Thf's.
Fight:
Sleeped the dragon (elemental Seal + sleep) , fight the eye , fight the dragon! too easy i think a blm + war could do it easy.

Blm+War could most likely NOT do it. I just did this today with me PLD/WAR and friend BLM/WHM. Slept dragon, killed eye, slept dragon, rested, went up against dragon.
I 2houred it invicibility for 30 secs and continued to heal myself until I was out of mp (mind you I ate an mp pie). Blm nuked until she had 37 mp left, then 2hred it nuking it as fast as she could.
I told her to heal me but her last spell got in right AFTER 2hr was done so we were left with no mp. Dragon killed me with a sliver hp left on it, Blm went up and Meleed it with staff and killed with 40 hp left.
I got the mission done...but it was friggin close.

Hey im s lvl 21 war using a fre sword and a powerbow+1 + Poison arrows ... my friends blm, whm, and a ran are willing to help (lvls 24,25,23) .... should i try and take him on? also ive became awara that i shouldnt use any WS .... and that i should use sleep and attack the eye first then voke the dragon and then use 2hr. would u say this is a decent strategy?

this dragon fight is so easy.
we had 1 blm 1 whm and 1 rdm with NO GEAR ON
me (31 warrior with NO GEAR ON) and another warrior with chainmail gear as he was 25 normal level..
easy peasy sleep dragon kill eye in 3/4 hits then war use 2 hours on dragon = 1 min 01 seconds long fight...

i had hate from my nukeing and the sleeping, so he killed me in 2... then the rest finished him off a couple of seconds after i hit the dust...
it was GR8!
second time was today, a bit of a sh*tty pt setup... drg, rdm(healer) nin, war and blm(me) as usual waited for dragon to agro, then i slept his *** with elemental seal, eye died, then i spammed aeroga, it kicked his ***, i got 2 in and 1 thunder, did a total of 334 damage :D i couldnt b screwed waisting my 2hr so close 2 it being dead, so i watched it die, it was so easy, my aeroga's nailed its *** so it couldnt get its AoE curse rdy...
just a lil tip :D
dragon doesnt agro real fast
it goes either by sight or sound... when u enter buff up then... wait for dragon to agro then sleep it... it may not even agro...
mages keep well away from it, it walks like a old granny as welll...
ummm
1 other tip, when ur done, u appear practicly at east sarutaberu (or wat eva its called) so dnt waist time for escape u jsut walk about 10 secs and ur out... well have fun :D
ill kill it any time for free, so just send me a /tell
ill come as BLM :D
