yo there is no WAY NO!! WAY these are lvl 55 they hit me for 200+ (i agro them when im bored hunting CCC)
I ran into there one day,one aggroed me and i got hit for 200+ damage.. i zoned them -_- didn't wanna delevel to 64, why in the hell does SE have high level NM's in low level places??
ok im a RDM60/BLM30 on Garuda, ask anyone within the korroloka tunnel in the last hour or 2, and they will tell you its true,.
i just soloed 2, thats right 2, OF THESE LEECHES im not kidding took me 30-60 mins a fight yet....only got 60EXP? so are these really lvl 70? it seems like they are around lvl 65 if i only get 60EXP at lvl 60--- yes i was completely solo. unless ypou count korrloka looking at me like i was crazy >:P :)

Before the update these guys pwned me in 5 hits twice at lvl 56sam ><. One of the times they killed me they were in the middle of the tunnel. Someone must have trained them out there or something but that really sucked. Just heading out towards atepa and random death in 5 seconds. So yes they were 70-75 or whatever but now after the update they must be a lower lvl since you could solo them.
An even match solo gives 100 exp, so these would have to be DC which would put them about level 55ish.

Solo'ed these guys as a lv.61 RNG. Key was to use Sleep Arrows. I tried Sleep Arrows + Loxley, but it wasn't doing enough damage for my taste. <.< Switched to Sleep Arrows + War Bow +1. Killed each leech in roughly 30 shots. Sleep activated around 3/4 of the time, which aren't the best odds. Recast Utsusemi while it was asleep. When Utsusemi was down, it hit me for ~180 damage, which is to be expected with RNG's low DEF. Didn't even know these were for a quest. Just saw a NM and wanted to add it to my, "Been there, killed it" list. =P Without sleep arrows and/or Utsusemi though, good luck with it. Would've been a tough fight otherwise.

Stumbled upon these one day while farming... only saw one... checked it... 'Impossible to guage' so of course, being the anxious, curious manthra i am... i attacked it -.- big mistake... i was killed in under 30seconds.... 60DRK/18THF atm ._. so just to let you know... 60DRK can`t solo these ^^;
Solo'd one of these for fun as rdm67/blm.
Opened with 300% Spirits Within.
Seems to have Poor Accuracy but when it does hit it does hit hard. 180 when phalanx/stoneskin/blink went down. that's with 300 Def. Soon figured i couldn't tank it so so sleep/bind/gravity >> nuke it. (didn't resist anything)
Also if i pulled it too far away from it's spawn area it unclaimed (and regained HP ><) and started going back to it's room.
It gave me 32 exp so it's not level 70 xD
with nin Sub job i could have killed this effortlessly =]

I remember going to do the NIN job with a two friends, 43sam and 30thf, and I was a 42smn. On the way back we see these Leeches and /check them and see that they're NM's, so we decided we'd go in and fight 'em lol, and when I saw the SAM drop in two hits I figured it wasn't such a good idea ><
From my experience, 64 Ninja or 64 Thief/Nin can solo this NM. I was there with my friend who is a Nin and we wanted to see if we can have some revenge on this NM. It one shotted us while we were exploring Korroloka Tunnel when we were in our 40s. Nin had capped evasion whearas my evasion was 212/219. We both had about +30 evasion in accessories. After I saw my friend solo the leech with just Utsusesmi: Ni, I decided to give it a shot although I only had Ichi. And here's the result.

I'm not too sure whether any job without having Utsusemi can solo this mob. The one time the Leech actually took all of my shadows off (its TP move) and succeeded in landing a hit on me, it dealt 200 dmg @.@;;

LOL. I was just in Korroloka Tunnel exploring/being bored, and I saw these leeches. Before I checked them I had said "Bah. Everything in here is EP except for the Bogy's and Gigas'. I can beat 'em if I have Stoneskin and Regen on or something..."

lol i was in the tunnel with a lev 60+ whm friend of mine and me with my 32drg and we just came across these leeches we figured that what the hell he was 60+ he shold b able to solo them. lol it killed the 60 whm in 2 hits then killed me in 1 luckly he had reraise 2 so he was ok and raised me and continued with the quest for ninja. Lol long story short i wont try to take one of them leechs again for a long time... and looking at the drops there is no reason to take them at all!

got bored one morning and feeling down getting no drop from Deadly Dodo decided to farm up some oils in Korroloka Tunnel and remembered getting owned by Jammer Leech when i was in 30s trying to do my ninja quest so standing here decided to try it out knowing it was lvl 70 NM but oh hell whats the fun in fighting it as lvl 75. THF60/NIN30 got my blink up and pulled it with my bow. and what do u know, thanks to dodge earring and survival belt i had on he miss me half of time. beat him ^^ 100 exp gained 250 HP left about 15 shihei used. fight lasted 5 min but hella fun XD

My first and only encounter with this mob was when i was camping Morion the Worm and this lvl 75 Drk trained it and about 20 other leeches to where i was camped....this was also my first encounter with someone doing an MPK......he just stood and watched as i tried to run for my life i was a lvl 43 war and delvled because of him......was not a good day for me
His name wasn't Lamer was it??? This person just did the same thing to a friend of mine. She zoned in right as he left this mob and about 20 other leeches at the zone. Asshat!!
just zoned into the tunnel when these guys run and scream ZONE! ZONE! so i see the leech and run lol. a lv 70 WHM and i (60 BLM) teamed up and owned 1 of these hehe he slept it, i used tornado, i rested, rinse and repeat. shame its a quest NM lol i wish it would dropped something, oh well, 1 more NM down.

There are lots of small pools of water just outside the Jammer Leech room, as well as throughout the tunnels. And as everyone should know, scent is removed by running through water.
For your own sake, as well as everyone else's,if you get aggro from these please take advantage of this fact and run through every pond you find! It's a lifesaver!

I ran into this Jammer Leach as i was minning, as level 63 black mage i felt confident that this was a place that i wouldnt need to be sneeky. To my supprise there was the Jammer Leach
around the conner. Saddly enough I was cought by supprise and was unable to make my escpape. I died. But now i know that when you venture around you should always be prepared for anything. Even in a Zone that has low level mobs, there is always the posabilty that you will meet your match. I now make it a priority to know my surroungs including NM spawns.

I ran into 2 of them jammer leeches when I was going there to kill the 3 leeches for the ninja ADV quest. Me 45 pld / 22 war and my ls buddy 45 drk / 22 war and i got hit 3 times for over 300dmg per hit. I managed to use my 2hr and lost them with only 81hp to spare. I almost crapped my pants. Scared the crap outa me.
I camp moriun worm alot with my friend sometimes losing to gil farmers, and sometimes winning :), so one day my friend got killed becuase Gil FArmer trained one of these on him, i wanted to know where these things spawned till he finally showed, me /cheer me
