Has anyone ever gotten the Freeze scroll from these?
Yes, got one after about 12 kills in The Eldieme Necropolis. Haunts pop in Kuftal Tunnel, too, but I've never gotten Freeze from them.

The Haunt in Kuftal Tunnel dropped the following item:
Square of Spectral Goldenrod
have absolutely no clue what it's for. But figured I'd post it.

this item is used with the spectrial Krimson to make the Haunted malhata or how ever you spell it which pops the NM that drops the toreador's cape
recipe is wind crystal = yew lumber,spectrial goldenrod, spectrial krimson

I got the drop to last night,
looked it up in AH couldnt find it. Some one told me he saw someone selling it in his bazaar for 2 mil. But that doesnt say anything.
Anyone know what its for and what it goes for in AH?

wait just checked, this item cant be sold on AH.
this drops Blizzard III as well
I think these aggro more than sound and low HP. I just walked by some with Sneak up and high HP, 4 aggros and I was raped. Stunned so I couldn't chainwarp to safety :(
That's because this monster not only detects by low HP and sound, but by scent. It's one of those rare monsters that if you don't have deoderize up for, it doesnt matter if ur max HP with invis AND sneak on, it will still detect you.
Went 1/7 for key.
Yes, I experienced the same thing. As BST I leveled off of the lizards near the entrance to Kuftal, which is about a mile away from the first haunt you encounter after the tunnel. During one fight, I could clearly see the haunt come all the way through the tunnel straight after me.
Sometime later I saw a few higher level people Sneak up near the entrance, and they were also aggroed from a mile away and had to call for help...

Yeah it aggros more than sound and hp low.
I got full hp and sneaked up, but got aggroed.
I tried it second time, same thing happened. I didn't have this problem after some time later. So i guess there may have something to do with the time too.

I've had em aggro to something other as well. It happened to me before with undead in Sea Serpent Grotto. Sneak up, full hp, aggro. I think we should quit smoking, so we breath more quiet ^^
