2k on siren
# Jul 29 2006 at 2:24 PM Rating: Decent
these things go for 2k each on siren! stacks are like 30k, too. I guess PLD is popular on siren =P
(and bloody weapons)

EDIT: sorry, 1-2k. but still.

Easy find

This drops off about almost every type of undead you can think of, fairly common drop too. However if you want to be lazy and just buy one off the AH, you can get one for about 100gil... off the AH... >_>

It says by burning it you can bring life back to the dead. This is done through synthing the various Bloody items. Bloody bolts for instance will have the effect of HP drain when used. This is essentially bring life back to someone partially dead. Synthing may be what they mean by "the smoke" given off.

Hope this clears up any confusion you have.

That made even less sence. The item is found on undead, as such the undead were more then likely created from the smoke of the root. The root that you find when you kill the mob is parts of it which wasnt burned in its creation.

The synth uses wind, blood, ingot, root. so your carving bolt heads that have a mixture of those properties.

1k/stack in Windurst on Cerberus.. Prolly about the same anywhere else ^^

Now, a whole year later, the price is 7k instead of 1k. Inflation has risen that much in one year.

More people need to stop blaming gil sellers and stop buying gil. Take up a craft and contribute to the world. The more supply, the less demand, and the prices will drop.

However, people (being the greedy creatures they are) buy constantly giving nothing back and the supply drops, demands rise, and prices sky-rocket.

In response to the person who mentioned planting this, I'd like to call his bluff ;)

You can't plant it. Just like you can't plant Treant bulbs and malboro vines and all that other stuff. Its simply used in crafting recipes, and for PLD quest.

You need that POT type called "Mary-Jane".

Err, I mean you need to quit SMOKING "Mary-Jane"!

lmao, you can't grow fruit from these things
that gives the reraise effect!
If you could these things would be worth alot more then 1k/stack. :)

# Dec 26 2003 at 11:05 AM Rating: Default
The item descriptions says if you burn them you can bring back the dead, how do you do this, Trade it with a fire? I tried synthing it with a fire crystal.

Auction house, if anywhere. I know a few people who have bought them there.
They drop from the Spooks in KRT and (so I've heard; can't confirm it) from some of the Tainted Hounds or other undead running around the zones at night.
Haven't fought enough undead to confirm it.
# Nov 14 2003 at 2:02 PM Rating: Default
anyone know where i can buy this?
RE: ahy
# Dec 11 2003 at 7:59 PM Rating: Good
You can buy these at the AH or find them off of UNDEAD monsters. That is why so many people posted which monsters they got it off of and if you noticed, they are all undead, even the foxes that roams around the area. Sorry, that I don't know the prices of the tree root. I think my friend is just going to buy it when it comes time to do his Paladin Job Quest, just to save time. But because I'm the nicest person in the world, I'm spending my time to slowly lvl my black mage subjob and trying to find the revival tree root from monsters. I would rather that he save his money to buy those expensive armor that warriors mus buy to upgrade themselves.
