I've only gotten chest keys from these guys, never coffer keys.

This talk about letting the THF kill it using melee wont work its just rumor. Example me THF32 at the time 2 friends BLM35 and DRK 47 were in buburima peninsula me and the BLM had tried earlier for half an hour to get carbys ruby no luck then the DRK came and helped me and he killed 1 (yes 1) leech and i got my ruby so it is more based on luck than anything else id say.

They aggro to sight because you had invis up and they aggroed? Wouldn't that mean they aggro to sound, not sight? :P

The ones in Crawler's Nest aggro, and they are not the same bees that you see on your way to the sack room. These are downstairs in the NW tunnel from the sack room.

So I've been soloing these at the entrance to Temple of Ugg for 3 days straight as a 60 rdm. 19+ hours, 4 deaths and still no drop. This is rediculous. And I would say the drop rate is much worse than papyrus. I would say about the same level as carbuncles ruby. I know for a FACT that in a 10 hour period of time, not a single larvae dropped for either myself or 2 other rdms killing them in the entire zone. We were chatting with each other all at different camps killing them. That was roughly ~300 dead bees and no drops between the 3 of us. That's bad.

But just a warning to those fighting these. Final Sting is a *****. They have 3 TP attacks - Sharp Sting, Pollen and Final Sting.

Sharp Sting: is a joke. Don't even worry about it.

Pollen: can be a bother as they can cure themselves for 3 different amounts. ~200, ~400, and ~1000. It's rare that they cure themselves for the last. I would say about one every 20 bees.

Final Sting: My nemesis. This can also come in different amounts, and I can't give you definate amounts of damage as I usually have Stoneskin up. My guess is that the numbers are pretty similar to the pollen numbers, or ~200, ~400, ~600. But I have seen it dish out 900+ damage ON TOP of a fresh Stoneskin + Phalanx. So I'm roughly guessing about 1100-1200 damge total. Yes than can definately one-shot you even with full HP and stoneskin and if you look above at my 4 deaths part, now you understand. Also - this will bypass any Blink/Utsusemi you have up, so be warned. Don't count on it saving your life. This is fairly rare though, about as rare as it using Pollen for +1000 hp.

This is all from my experiences so yours may vary. I hope that you have better luck at getting your larvae than myself.
