I was away for a couple of days and when i cma eback I checked on my bird read that my chocobo was a little under the weather that i should feed it the tokopekko wildgrass but the next care day i had it listening to music and right after it said the bird illness has completely healed so maybe music can cure sickness too

i grew some of these and it took all told about 5 or 6 days. i plan on standing outside of the stable and selling them for about 1k apiece. if you figure the price of the boat trip to whitegate (don't have to go through customs npc is standing right on the dock) a bag of seeds was 312 i think, you only have about 500 total tied up in growing these. the prices at the ah are surprising. i'm so glad i had some grown before my baby hatched.
I have fed my chocobo this grass three seperate times(at a cost of 60k!) and she's still 'weakly eating the tokopekko wildgrass' and she doesn't get any better! I am terrified that I'll check on her later and she'll have died. I am going into 12 days with this already and I'd really hate to have to start over. I also gave her some gausebit wild grass yesterday when I couldn't find the toko. grass anywhere(and I didn't have the money yet). Any help with this, especially how long the growth proccess(in regards to gardening) is greatly appreciated. I have been growing six pots(1 earthen, 3 brass and 2 ceramic)for about 2-3 days now(real days, or maybe it's been four...I dunno.)and fed them all water crystals already. I am hoping to have the plants to give her the next time she is hungry.

I fed my chocobo one tokopekko wildgrass and the next time i checked it, it had healed. I recommend just trying with one at first before spending a rediculous amount of gil on this stuff.
I believe, though I've not confirmed, that you may just need to zone and wait until the next Vanadiel day. I couldn't get my choco to do anything but eat weakly (two tokopekko pastes and a gausebit grass before I ran out of gil), but when I came back to check on her after some farming, she was all better. If she gets sick again I'll only feed her one piece, then zone and wait for the day to turn to confirm.

just have it rest for a day. completely cured, no gil spent ^^

have you tried giving ur chocobo a chocolixer it will cure all illness from ur chocobo. making it easier to raise

can you get tokopekko grass by using any other pots? Or only brass ones? Has anyone tried with other pots?

Dont worry, Gausbit Grass and Gayshal Greens work as well. But the guy will tell you that the chocobo chick is not happy, but it does keep it from dying.

Does anyone know how long it takes to gross the herb? I'm on my second day right now with it growing.
Also, i tried using a Brass Pot, as was mentioned ont he comments here; but on cannotlinkto, it states that a Brass pot does NOT yield Tokopekko?
Any clarification on that?

the tokopekko wildgrass is grown from wildgrass seeds which can be found in whitegate only.. an npc sells them.
Where in Whitegate is the NPC that sells the wild grass seed?? What is the NPC's name??

I can't find these on any AH and my CHoco is sick.

If your chocobo is sick you should be able to make it feel better with Gausebit Grass but chocobos don't care for the taste. =O

tokopekko grass sold for 10k a piece at first... the next one sold for 100k.. for ONE... SE has messed up again by these chocobo items being obtained only from gardening.
If you sell for less, youre SOL... if you sell for more, your jacking prices..
then joe schmoe can't keep their chocobo healthy, cause they don't have the gil for it.
I'm gonna see how well I can grow these items and seriously undercut these price jackers.
This is Valefor server btw.

When I logged on today and checked on my choco ( IT HATCHED) .. but it also needed one of these cause its sick... be warned lol...
On Garuda in Jeuno two stacks of 12 have sold, one for 100k last week and one for 1.2 million yesterday.

gardening? yes... Brass Flowerpot+Wildgrass+water crystal, supposedly yields 10-12 herbs... i have 4 pots of these almost ready to be picked... so i'll edit soon^^can also use Earth flower pot... but heard from a buddy that it yields less. ~3-8 or so.. hope this helps^^

Maybe I did something wrong...but I planted these a couple days ago and used a water crystal since it's the only crystal I've been able to see mentioned to use. I got Sharug greens instead...on all of them (i only planted 4 in brass pots). The others I used ceramic pots and fed them earth crystals. I got 7 lighning crystals and 9 vomp carrots...Anyone have any suggestions?
